i dont know if it's just me, but if i try to connect to irc.quakenet.org it wont connect me. i went to thier site and just picked the NY server. and then i just made a lil alias to connect me like /con how you do that is like this: open mirc hit ALT+A make a new line and type this in the new line: /con /server whole.ny.quakenet.bhalbhalb(thats not the real server, get one from the quakenet website(www.quakenet.org). hit ok to save your new alias script then just type "/con" in the status window and it will connect you to the server. really, no kidding. or you could just download a fancy dancy mirc script, but for some reason quakenet wont let me connect w/ nnscript. /me shrugs |

In options set 'IRC Network' to "Quakenet", and the server to either 'random' or 'random <whatever is closest to you>'. Fill out the blank spaces. Hit 'Connect server'. Go to the 'Channels folder' and in there you press 'add'. Under 'Channel' just write "#jedi-academy" and set a mark in the 'Join channel on connect'. Leave the other fields empty. Now just press 'ok', double-click on the channel in your list, and you should be fine. PS: If I've missed something, please let me know. EDIT: That is only if you have mIRC. If you don't have that, just go to 'Chat' on this site and enter your nickname where the field is. You don't need to do anything else, just hit connect and you should be chatting.
