i been thinkin.... we only got some days before switching to a new game... some of us don't have the beta (me included) and don't know wtf happens in the game; others have the beta... i been thinkin that many JASs will turn into JAKs with the new game since they have d/l-ed the beta... so more JAKs and less JASs... sounds good. but is it fair? lemme hear opinions... i am SURE most of the beta-holders will say that it is... but really, tell the truth! anyway, all of this could be somethin like the Y2K (year 2000 for the untold about) concept that the world would end. who knows? _______________ Your friends of today, are your enemies of tomorrow. |

What about the fixes. When the game comes out there will probably be at least 1 patch that will change damage and moves. It happened to this game as well, it changed a lot. You get used to it after less then an hour of playing. I say, let's not worry about the extra JAK's. I'm sure the council will, as always, make wise disicions in that matter as they have done untill now. Don't forget that the ppl who play the game now can also improve in other aspects when the game comes out. JAT's aren't pinned to teaching a single thing. I guess we'll have a few JAK's more when the game has been out for 1-2 months, because there will be some JAK's that will teach the new things and become JAT. And as I said earlier, don't worry about it, more JAK's can't be bad, and the JAC is fair and wise in choosing them. I'm not saying people don't play online, but its not exactly as easy as other games with a full release. You can only join servers by direct ip, you can't just do a search for em. Honestly, has anyone played it yet with more than (at the most) 5 other people?? I stongly doubt it. i don't think there will be much changes. first the people who got the beta can only do some bot-ffa's (not very interesting i think) second, being a knight is not very skill-based i think, it's more like how you are as a person third, when i got jkii (about four months ago) i could beat some guys who had it a year allready after two weeks fourth, you've still got the whole single saber thing, with blue, yellow and red, without very much changes _______________ -Nero Quote: Curious, Smartass, what else? |

The advantage will be only slight. First off, the specials used for the sabers. Whilst I can see them being tweaked as currently they are too cinematic, the way they are performed won't change. Other stuff like the acrobatic moves, they won't change. Actual saber combat and stuff, no. Beta people will have no advantage combat wise: No one has really been able to play other people, only bots. Those that have, spam the moves since the damage is messed up, which makes deciphering which swings work best impossible. Yes the beta isn't the final version, but don't be deceived. Yeah I agree. YOu dont know what changes took place after the Beta Leaked. And besides. Probably some moves will stay the same so the very good duelers will be addepted quickly. Its just like switching to jk2. instead of jk1. It wasnt so hard. Just master the Combo's and done |

Not gonna happen. For one, ranks here aren't based on skill alone. Also, things in the beta WILL be changed/rebalanced. *Shhhh* lol Besides... They're not just up and changing all the saber combat. They're adding to the system they already had in place. It stands to reason that those skilled in JK2 will be able to adapt their style to JK3 fairly quickly. I wouldn't worry about it too much. |
