Hey everyone. Being that i am a movie theater manager, i was wonderin what your favorite summer movie was this past summer. Please vote other and say on your post if its not one of the included. Pirates of the Caribbean was mine by far! I've seen all of the above. Pirates was VERY good. I liked the fighting in the Matrix, but it wasn't nearly as good as the 1st. I expected T3 to be utter crap, but it was a fun movie to watch. "Come with me if you want to live..." "Drop dead!" hmm have only seen TMR, bruce almighty, and finding nemo this summer.. out of the 3 i think i liked nemo most! lol no seriously they did a good job with it. and matrix is.. well.... matrix.. bruce almighty was only so so. it's jim carey after all. now i gotta see the pirates and T3... hmmm, smily, can you get us in for free if we show our Jedi Academy card?  _______________ make install -not war |

2 fast 2 furious. i went in expecting a crappy movie and was plesently surprised when i found out: i was right, but the cars were better than i had expected. what can i say: i dont watch alot of movies, and i usually get dissapointed easily. |

LOL JACEN!!! Yeah the movie prices are crazy!! I dont blame people for not wanting to go to the movies. I dont make the prices so feel free to complain about them as much as you want. God only knows how much i hear that everyday of my life anyway. LOL. I know I'll rent Pirates when it's released on DVD, as I've heard great things about it, but never got a chance to see it. I was slightly disappointed in Reloaded, but it was still great. Overall, I would have to give my pick to Terminator 3. fiZZ, I'll have to agree with you on Dr. Silberman. That was pretty great. _______________ Captain Barkeep. I'd have to say Bruce Almighty was pretty funny, and Dumb and Dumberer was just, well, dumb . But I had my gf with me, so it was worth it. ...I loved the ending to Terminator 3! I love anything involving the end of the world. Except if it involves us.  My opinion on The Matrix: Reloaded. It was everything I was hoping it would be. I agree with everyone else about that Zion dance scene.. I was happy to see Zion, but the dance scene was pointless. Whenever somebody complains about TMR being stupid because it had no story, I feel like watching it again...and strangling an anti-TMR person...LOL. _______________ Wanna know what my name means? Pirates of the Caribbean .. yep that's the one. Depp is tha MAN!!! Without him it would only be a good movie Have seen T3 ... action scene's are great .. but dislike ending. Cool stuff with the rockets and so .. but a way too easy open ending ... you get out with a bit of a "damn, now I have to wait again on ....." and a "great, they wanne make some more money ...." feeling Matrix reloaded also great but a bit too ... well .... matrix - like ... LOL. Not easy to say. And American Wedding ... not my cup of tea ... so better I stay silent about that one ... LOL  _______________ -"Do, or do not. Well, kinda hard for me since I don't often go to theaters, and there are a few reasons for that: 1. Money...... no offence to your business, Smily, but I'm sure as hell not gonna pay overprice for something I can see 6 months later much cheaper. 2. You can't stop the movie when it's started. Ever wanted to see that particular cool scene again? Can't when you're in the theater. And I don't think I have to mention the part about bathroom breaks. 3. It might just be me who's weird, but I think there's too many bad movies out there nowadays... those who just want to get quick money and don't care about the audience. And to not get this completely off-topic, I voted for Matrix: Reloaded.... now I just need to watch #1. |

I haven't seen any movies this summer, they're WAY too expensive. $10 for the movie and a medium soda/popcorn is $5 each!
