So yeah, you all know what happened. Now what should I do with my Eclipse? Engine if first priority, but what next? And what about body work? Any suggestions? Suck. Had a cop pull me over and gave me a ticket because my inspection tags were a week out. Went in for inspection and it seems the carborator/dry nos injection AND the fuel line that came WITH the car happen to NOT be street-legal in forty-two out of fifty states. Dude! Thats the best thing about it! The engine I dropped in there is INVINCIBLE! I have yet to fine-tune the shot of nos to use but so far all I have had to do is replace a lock-washer that came off cause it was old. _______________ I'm crazy, not stupid. |

Clocking mechanisims are easy. Ya stick them to parts of your car and hit a button when you want to begin. They take over from there! Its definatly SWEET!! BTW, the dry-nitrous carborator comes in tommorow morning, the carb alone should give me a good boost, plus the NOS always works its magic. BADDA BOOM! HAH! Got my response time down some more now that I am used to the clutch. My best time tonite was 10.3 ON THE DOT! (bite me silky ) After revieving the performance recordings though, we think that I shouldn't try to run it any faster until the carborator gets in AND I can get some quality time of the belt () and tightening the camshaft. After that I am going to see how hot I run and see if I really NEED to adjust the exaust and cooling systems. _______________ I'm crazy, not stupid. |

No offence taken Silky, I mean, come on! Stock it ran a 16 second qm so getting it down to 11.94 is good for only replacing the engine. The cool-air intake goes in tonite BTW, and I have a couple bottles of fuel mixture that I am going to play with since I need to fuel it up, gonna do that after I make a run or two with the intake. Thanks to the WONDERFUL people at FedEX (from now on I am shipping UPS  ) then my new nos injecting carborator is going to be delayed until this friday . Soooooo yeah. Thats that. Oh yeah! My back! Took the first advil I have needed all weekend this evening, and thats only because I hadn't streched this morning , other than that it's feeling just as if I hadn't messed it up at all!
