hehehe i remember pepsi. he was an anti-saber player. he hated the fact that no one practiced with guns and only wanted standard duels. so instead of just politly asking if people wanted to have a ctf session he would berate people calling them star wars nerd role players or something. he was basically a counter-strike/quake player trying to get those same jollies out of jk2. even though he was a jerk he sure did make this place interesting for a bit. _______________ "We keep odd hours...." ----------------------- They Live, We Sleep |

I remember having to mail in profile pics. I recall DJ commenting that he'd never seen anyone use a sports pic as an avatar before. Does anyone remember that guy Pepsi? He was REALLY good, but what a JERK!!! He'd completely insult you and then pretend that he had no idea that he was bustin' on you. I remember Huxley entering the servers as 'Huxley [JAS]'. Oh before the point system there was a simliar system but that only required to to find a teacher to trial you, show some moves and climb the ladder of the ranks. And a really long time ago, you had to mail your profile picture to fixtheja@hotmail.com, and someone there would put it up for you plus send you a friendly mail back. Try that with 6500+ users |

Yeah; Hux was still with us as Huxley|JAK| At least he was when I joined. I remember his kick class, where I'd always get pwn3d by everyone. And yeah the point system was a nice idea, but it kinda resulted in students being angry at teachers for not giving them points. OMG - I loved the old system (apart from the fact that some peeps did go to the classes just to get points up - as already mentioned). It was a great time back then When we had peeps like NFF active and on the servers every day - and it was not uncommon to see DJ and Doobie on their either. Yeah, oldbie days were cool...remember when doobie used to be massadoobie, not comrade doobov? WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH THE "COMRADE" STUFF?? on a lighter note, I remember handing in my application for the Academy and the point system...to tell you the truth, I'm sure the point system was a good a idea, but I like the current way to move up better. I remember I went to one of La Magra's class (my only one:eek and I didn't see him at all. I figured he had cancelled class, and lo and behold: I was docked a point when I checked my profile the next day.  oh yeah, i remember when Yun was still with us, and his Padawans were the only thing close to an organization here at the JA.
