I will try to respond to your problems and questions as soon as possble. Sorry I cannot answer any Mac question I haven't touched a Mac in years.. Ok Here's a post with some usefull links. I will keep updating this as needed. If you don't know about this site and you are a Windows User you need to know about this. This site will patch your os with any of the bugs in any Windows OS. http://www.windowsupdate.com A good piece of software to have. This will scan your computer for any kind of spyware that any freeware or shareware program that you download and install. http://www.lavasoftusa.com or you can try spybot http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html *NOTE* Don't have both installed or they will say each other is spyware. I like spybot better. A good free anti-virus program.. If you don't have a anti-virus I recommend you do. http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_index.php This site is good for information on ISP's(Internet Service Providers). It alos has a great little toolset for testing your internet connection and the forums are helpful for tweaking your pc to get the most out of your connection. http://www.broadbandreports.com Do you have windows XP or 2000 and a great video card? Seem to be stuck at about 60FPS, even though you say like com_maxfps 120? Simple fix http://www.ryanmh.com/files/reforce.zip is a fix for a Windows Bug that locks your frame rate at 60 fps when you can get higher. All you do is unzip that run it, click auto populate, hit Apply and reboot and boom FPS allover the place _______________ When a Man lies he murder's some part of the world. SoL: if you're running on an ATi video card, I have a hunch your problem (and I'm having the same one) is caused by a bug in Catalyst versions more recent than 4.11. Try downgrading and see if it's any better (OpenGL performance will increase overall for sure). _______________ Saving the world, one kilobyte at a time. |

I get that problem too Scythus, I always just figured it was my browser (Opera) connecting to the web and loading information as well as settings. When you just create a new window with others open it's just another instance of the already running process soit doens't have to access the hard drive. My suggestions, get more RAM, get a faster hard drive, and close some of the unnecessary programs on your computer (examples: weatherbug, AIM, etc.) _______________ I must not fear . *Annoys Orion* K seriously I'm having a little bit of trouble with my browser(s). When I open it for the first time (if there isn't one already open) it takes ages to load the first page, after that it loads fine. When I close it and open it again it takes ages again (like a minute). This happens with both firefox and IE. I've scanned for spyware and virii. ok, I've decided that i sit at the computer and do basically nothing way to much. I'd like to make a website to display my pictures to my friends and generally just make stuff. Part of this is actually making it. We really couldn't care less if someone uses a KT, as long as there are no public messages about it.. the one that bugs me the most is "You are my #th kill", because you can't say 1th or 2th.. :/ Eh, if nothing else, there's always the bug exploit which can be used to turn it off. |

I have a ton of .wma files on my computer that i want to listen to using my kill tracker, but my kill tracker only plays .mp3 files. Is there a way to convert the files into mp3's without downloading software? |
