I will try to respond to your problems and questions as soon as possble. Sorry I cannot answer any Mac question I haven't touched a Mac in years.. Ok Here's a post with some usefull links. I will keep updating this as needed. If you don't know about this site and you are a Windows User you need to know about this. This site will patch your os with any of the bugs in any Windows OS. http://www.windowsupdate.com A good piece of software to have. This will scan your computer for any kind of spyware that any freeware or shareware program that you download and install. http://www.lavasoftusa.com or you can try spybot http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html *NOTE* Don't have both installed or they will say each other is spyware. I like spybot better. A good free anti-virus program.. If you don't have a anti-virus I recommend you do. http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_index.php This site is good for information on ISP's(Internet Service Providers). It alos has a great little toolset for testing your internet connection and the forums are helpful for tweaking your pc to get the most out of your connection. http://www.broadbandreports.com Do you have windows XP or 2000 and a great video card? Seem to be stuck at about 60FPS, even though you say like com_maxfps 120? Simple fix http://www.ryanmh.com/files/reforce.zip is a fix for a Windows Bug that locks your frame rate at 60 fps when you can get higher. All you do is unzip that run it, click auto populate, hit Apply and reboot and boom FPS allover the place _______________ When a Man lies he murder's some part of the world. ok, I've decided that i sit at the computer and do basically nothing way to much. I'd like to make a website to display my pictures to my friends and generally just make stuff. Part of this is actually making it. I only have frontpage 2000, but i basically know how to use it. my questions are this 1) is there any free webspace where i could put this website, have room for my pictures 2) also, is it possible to add a small forum type space where my friends could make comments. i really don't want to go to one of those sites with a completely built site, i'd kinda like to do it myself thanks for the help guys -Dice P.S. i'll send you all a link when its done  if you could send any info you have to icedice34@gmail.com that would be great, but i will be checking here, thanks again _______________ Dicemaster |

Windows automatically recognizes them as shortcuts and truncates the endings for your viewing pleasure. We really couldn't care less if someone uses a KT, as long as there are no public messages about it.. the one that bugs me the most is "You are my #th kill", because you can't say 1th or 2th.. :/ Eh, if nothing else, there's always the bug exploit which can be used to turn it off. |

I have a ton of .wma files on my computer that i want to listen to using my kill tracker, but my kill tracker only plays .mp3 files. Is there a way to convert the files into mp3's without downloading software? |

hey guys, me again. Something just messed up my pc. I first ran an Ad-aware scanning and I found 1 trojan virus, so i marked it and deleted it. But now the damn thing has turned every single icon or shortcut into .lnk !! and i cant open anything! Any suggestions? thanks. |

hmm that shouldnt happen. (i have an identical setup ) But this sound like a prob i know. the reason why i recommend NOD32 over AVG is 1) AVG is pretty poor at cleaning infected files 2) The AVG detection rate is pretty low I've had cases where I knew there was a virus, but AVG a) could no nothing or b) couldnt even see it. I would love to have some help here, if possible When I install NOD32, I always lose my internet connection. I've digged through the settings, but can't find what's wrong with it. I'm on a network Internet (my brother has internet too on his pc, but it's the same connection) I use Mozilla as my browser (haven't tried if IE still has internet. What am I doing wrong here? A bit of help please ... thanks in advance - Bailey - PS: Does anyone know a program that shoes entries in your Registry that shouldn't be there? I used it before, but can't find it again? Anyone know the name by chance? (it showed all entries that can be safely removed, aren't necessary (anymore), etc...) _______________ Visit the Belouve Family Website!
