hello guys

ive heard of a lot of people that they say that dual and staff sabers are for n00bs because they are better sabers, and that the real players choose the single.

I myself wants to pick the dual because its looks cool and plays nice (in the demo ;))

I like dual sabers, the moves look cool in slow motion. :D

Na na na na na na...
The saber styles do not make a difference, it all depends how you play. A dueler with a staff can kill you in 1 move, but so can a single. You just have to practice. Dual saber story. I find my biggest challenges in duels are against single stylers as I've mostly using dual.

Not really, different sabers have different disadvantages

Hey, now that I think about it, in my story Darth Rider (evil me) uses the staff because of his hand injury, and Mikel Rider (god, and current me) uses the single and duel, so I guess what weapion I use will be determined by the side of the bed I get on, crap, now I have to learn them both.

You could say some weapons are better to start with, and some require less skill, but when it comes down to it if your not very good, and its the saber your using doing the work, your bound to stumble someday soon.

I personally enjoy using the Saber Staff at the moment, it's different, Im not saying the Dual sabers aren't, and I will get to them, but right now its staff for me.

Id like to try all over a period of time, keep the game interesting, swop from saber to saber, against an opponent who has weakness's against a perticular one..

I wouldn't classify any saber as a better option for n00b's tho, since sabers honestly don't have a mind of there own and it's the player who will earn the rights of the kill, through skill, or now and again, luck.

Glad to see the ancient "This weapon is n00bish" debate still roars on...

People have been arguing this since frickin' Doom and the BFG. And in all that time I can only conclude that people scream "BFG Spammer", "AWP Whore" and other less gentler epithets is because they have a focused style of play that goes against these weapons, and their frustration levels soar when those weapons are used against them. It has nothing to do with the weapons it has to do with ones understanding of them, or lack thereof. And because they do not know the weapon, they have no idea what to expect.

For me it is Tekken and Eddie Gordo. I frickin' HATE Eddie Gordo with all the fibre of my inky black soul. Is it the character? No. It's the fact that I haven't figured out his patterns yet. When you haven't figured out how a weapon operates you cannot do much more than stumble around trying to figure it out while getting 0wned. It's frustrating and that is understandable.

They are just weapons. Once you know how they work, what they are capable of doing, you will know how to counter them. A great warrior not only knows his own weapons, but those of his enemies...

...don't know if anyone important said that, it just sounded cool.... :P

...darn this post was wordy... :\

This goes to show that not everyone knows exactly what a n00b is.

ARGH:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: I knew I was going to see this new saber users are noobs crap, they are just Fin sabers. I am going to use a saberstaff, period, why, because I like it, I may loose every duel, everyone here can say I am a noob, but I will still be using it, that is my guys mo (read the story on my profile) I like staffs and the martial arts influence, and I think it looks cool, so any one that says the new sabers are for noobs, is the noob, because an expieranced player can adapt to any opponent so it doesn't matter what saber their opponent is using, just how well they use their own.

I expected ppl would say the new sabers would be n00b-only, but i think ppl just don't know how to use them properly, so it looks like ur using n00b blue... (Im prolly wrong but ey, i tried :))

I think they aren't really balanced right now but will be with patches. (Blue lunge = instakill and such stuff)
Right now I try to get good/better with dual sabers.

Like is said, all is balanced, even when it isn't. It will be fixed in patches. The single saber will be a very good style too, since you can change your stance. This will give so many options (although most are not as powerfull) that you are very versatile. So all of them rock
