Hey people, thanks for those who helped me with the cheats. Now, I need some help with some combos for single saber, dual sabers and/or saber staff. I haven't been able to get them work either...either you need to be like an exact distance away...or the writers of the manual had a lil too much to drink.... ... I think it's the latter |

Does the hilt bash actually work? It's described in the instruction booklet, but when I do it, all i get is the front kick (using the staff). Also, the spin kick you described doesn't work for me either. What's the timing behind some of these difficult moves? Since I've only played the demo I have few things to say about SP... not sure if they're the same in MP: - There are two different butterfly moves with staff. You spin on the right side if you do it from standing, you spin on the left side when you do it from running. - You can throw with a staff if you're fast enough. Disable second blade (middle mouse), throw saber (right mouse) and when the blade returns activate second blade again (middle mouse) - You can get some nice spins with staff. They're maybe not as effective as the right-left movement, but - hell - they look good. if I remeber right it is forwardright-right and backwardright-right. - I like the forward combo forward-forwardleft-forwardright. You can chain it without doing any spin. - Remeber you can kick in air. Use this for an suprising attack: Jump high in air and start the kick when you're about to land. If done right, your enemy will get kicked without even seeing it coming. - Side kick (to left and right at once) has a very short range. Try to do a spinkick instead. - Rember you can start the saber twirl in air aswell. - How to turn on the staff correctly? No DONT just hit left mouse or saber key. Everybody can do that. Right way to do it: Activate first blade (middle mouse) then activate second blade. If you're too late activating second blade it'll go to yellow stance and look crappy. If you#re too fast activating it it wont be as cool as Maul. If you do it right, you will activate your saber more like Maul did in EP1... one blade... and after that the other one. Left and Right click at the same time, and this weird non-instruction manual spin with the staff happens. I think its a Kata but is described as a butterfly. I agree with all that's been said. 1) Good to have a list that you can stick on the wal, and not have to hit <Tab> for. 2) Might be good to explain timing on moves. Forward+Jump+Mouse 1 is a dumb explanation. Hit them all at once, a bit offset, what? 3) Undocumented moves. They are always out there. Like chaining stuff together, etc. If you do what was traditionally the spin combos in JK2 (forward diag+ attack, side+attack, back diag+ attack) with dual sabers, it comes out real nice. Stuff like that. So keep this up. I like it. We are "THE Place for Jedi Training". Not "THE place to tell you to look it up in the damn manual, moron". But you guys are all good for helping. True, reading the manual is a start, but if someone asks me "How do I turn on my saber?" I will tell them, not point them to the manual. But I ramble. A cool combo with staff? Right-left-right-left (can chain that for a bit). If you do that right and not spin its quite effective.
