I'm a dual saber man...the jump attack is soo cool. A lil underpowered tho. It's kinda neat when you run in with only one blade lit and then light the second one in front of ur enemy. Single saber is the greatest of course, but I have been playing alot of the staff style. I think its a good idea to get good with all the sabers styles. Single all the way, baby. Single sabers just seem to have more control than duals and staves do. Plus, single sabers are more versatile due to the fact that they have three styles, each with a different use. With staves and duals, you only get one style, then one of the single saber styles. Plus, you can't do the single saber katas or the YDFA when you turn off one saber or one end of the saber. Duals and staves tend to be more aggressive than single sabers, too, and personally I'm a defensive player. |

Staff ISNT a weapon used by the sith just cause u saw MAUL use it doesnt meen its a SITH weapon plus u may be right about the diff stances u have in single and everythign but STILL doesnt change the fact on the suer of there saber what if ur up against an opponent who knwos what they are doin and knows ALL aspects of the sabers what are u gonna do??it'll be a HARD fight to win if the personis usin a staff saber if he knows EXACTLY whta u can do so i wouldnt rely on the amount of this u can do with a single saber u have to rely on ur own skill and abiliy to KNOW when to do certain moves rememerb quality not quantity _______________ Sister to Smily,Axion,and CT Friend to ALL... i use only single saber becuse: 1.it have 3 styles and have answers to almost all the attackes of staff and duel sabers 2.when u duel chainging your fithing style is a surprise to your enemy and while he is watching not to be attacked by a DFA u can change to blue style and stab him from cruch possision (lunge) 3.STAFF is a wepon of the DARK SIDE(SITH) _______________ Blue! blue stance for ever!!! oh ye : owner of dash's "GOM!!11!! it's purple'" *1800* comment!!! owner of Wicek 3333rd "cool guys use Yellow sabers" post. I'm a dual saber fan...the saberlocks look SOOO much cooler than the staff or single. Altho they're not that damaging, so ya have to get a lot of hits in. I thought I'd decided single until last night when pulled a staff out to show someone. I tried using it like I would strong stance with some good results. Is just wish I could turn off butterfly- its not a spam problem, its just a three second commitment if you happen to hit it and I like to keep moving. I'm not really a kata man, but I would miss the single's fast delivery. Of course, I'm afraid if I go staff I'll embark on a never-ending tourney to find the fabled hilt-bash. I'm on the fence here, what pushed you guys either way? (For those struggling between the two styles - Double is like driving a 400hp blender.) _______________ No matter where you go, there you are. I think single saber is the true test of jedi skills, and the true weapon of any jedi. I also find it can be hard to beat in a dual as it has the strong stance (red). I prefer to use the single saber. I just glean more satisfaction from using one saber well. Plus it looks cooler to take down someone with dual or staff when you have one. I love the katas (medium especially), and as has been stated, ydfa IS useful. Yeah, well, the first day I played the game I learned all the most effective combos and specials for all the saber types and stances, and used them in multiplayer too. I just picked single saber because it's better. Taking the other ones seems a lot like the Dark Side to me.. the quick, easy path. _______________ © |

Heres my train of thought: You need to open ur mind explore different styles and learn them to ur advantage the more u know the better u become so when u stick to just 1 singel style or form ur not expanding at all ur just sticking to 1 lv of style I myself enjoy staff BUT I do also train in dual and single(not much single cause ive had enough of it in jk2)so open up learn ur styles by doing this it will open up ur path to becomeing a TRUE jedi Edit: I always need to type this SMILY RULES!! ahh I feel better now _______________ Sister to Smily,Axion,and CT Friend to ALL...
