I don't know if this has been posted before, but i am getting severiouly pissed off. On levels with lots of doors and that type of thing, i get horrible lag whenever i get close to one. I don't know if there is a setting i need to change or something, but if you can tell me PLEASE HELP my computer should be able to run this, pentium 4 ATI Radeon 8500 with 128MB on board, and like 64 MB ram. so what is wrong??????? P.S. This is on Single player, the multiplayer just lags in general which also pisses me off, grrrrr not as happy with my 50 dollar purchas anymore  _______________ Dicemaster This post was edited by Dicemaster on Sep 22 2003 03:31am. |

Go to lucasforums an check THAT list of bugs. They have a thread just for AtI cards and it appears to have the most listings of this type. I have one too and have the same problems. I went a head and made sure everything in the game was turned off if possible low if not or at it's lowet setting. Then I made sure everything for openGL and direct3D were set all the way to performance and all of the compatibilty settings were enabled except for the force Z-buffer depth and support W-buffer and the applicable said error diffusion not ordered and it seems to help a bit. Not a complete fix but the game is a little more playable. Not to insult your intelegence, for it seems everyone knows more than I do, but try doing these things if you haven't before. I didn't even know these things had any bearing on games until I went to ATI and got a manual for my card. Hope this helps. |

This wasn't onboard, onboard on this computer was an Nvidia TNT2 with 32mb of onboard, when i bought the radeon my bro did bout 10 hours of research, and price wise this was as good as the closest Nvidia which was a middle end Gforce 4 so  its a damn good video card, i would never buy another Nvidia, i'm stickin with ATI _______________ Dicemaster |

Check if your drivers are updated, put it on low graphics, and pray. Or buy a new computer which doesn't have an onboard Radeon 8500. |
