I was experimenting by myself while the rest of the people were messing around with throwing there saber then turning it off.. then Markal decides to attack me for no reason.. So i figure Mace Windew is there and he is a JAK so i ask him for help.. he says he is "OFF Duty"... Hey guys.. if your gunna have JAK's can you atleast make them care about there job enough to help.. i thought JAK's were there for a reason and not just to say there "off duty" the situation still wasnt resolved so now i post about it here hopeing it will... but i know it wont, so its worth a try.. Does anyone in the Academy care ? Perhaps the Academy will get there act together? or is everyone on vacation...  |

Ok mmmm where to begin: First of all, if ya have a problem with any of the knights or how we handle things you can always bring it to me as acting leadknight and not blatantly post it over the forum cause personally this is just way is just like slapping in our face. Secondly, I have no problem with knights being off-duty once and a while, after all they are all still human and once and a while we need our break. All we ask that they take their tags off when they are off-duty, speaking of which, he did go up to this person to ask him why it happend. Third, did ya even try talking to this markal, before running to mace. Cause in most cases, just a little pm does wonders, without involving any higher authority. And if they do keep doing the same, then you can take it up with any jak/jat/jac on the server. Also take screenshot and preferablly a condump of your console. These can be mailed to the JAC where the proof will be examined and the necessary steps will be taken. On a final note, and this is for all ppl on the servers. If someone lames, don't ever retaliate, maintain your calm and take necessary steps for gathering the proof. Retaliation will just create chainreaction and chaos will originate similur to most public servers and thats just the situation we try to avoid thats all I wanted to say, Carry on LaMagra, Current Leadknight |

To straighten this whole thing out. Markal said he attacked him by accident. Anyway, Jedi Masta, things like this are going to happen and you need to know that accidents will happen and that NO ONE is perfect. Another thing, reporting markal for what? He attacked you, I spoke with him and he said he won't do it again. Everything was clear. You wanted me to report him without even giving him a warning? Now isn't it much easier to speak to him about what he did than having to report him and embaress a fellow student over what, an mistake or accident? We should forgive eachother for the mistakes/accidents that we make and just keep on going. And in the words of DJ Sith.. Carry on... Dude you've placed such posts before and I and some other already said this isnt the way to solve those things. If you have problems in this case with Markal and Mace Windu go to them and talk it over cause telling everyone on the forums just isnt gonna solve anything if it does anything at all... it will just make things worse. And if you cant work it out next time make a screenie and send it to a JAC the'll take care of it further then. Hope you will remember that next time you feel like reporting something. |

Yeah doesn't sound like Mace, but that doesn't mean its impossible that it happened. In my opinion people get too angry over laming, if he was asked to stop and didn't then I'd talk to a JAK. And also consider working it out with Marckal. Did you talk to him about it ask him why he did it or did you immediately ask Mace to get involved. The JAK's, JAT's, and JAC's here are not power hungry abusive admins like you see on most servers. Most of them are there just like you to enjoy the game and would rather not need to exert their powers in an assertive or aggressive way. Them just being there is usually enough to keep our servers calm. It probably wasn't the best for Mace to do that but if you talked to marckal you could have just gotten a "sorry just messing around" Afterall the game is still new and the point is having fun you need to be a little more lenient on people right now than how it has been on JK2 for the past several months. _______________ When you are going through Hell, keep going. -Sir Winston Churchill. Cos I don't wanna call you a liar but that doesn't sound like him at ALL If soomone 'lames' you first of all try and talk with em. Don't report every little occasion where someone has killed you, either on purpose or by accident. If they're being intentionally abusive then yes, by all means report it. Don't retaliate, ESPECIALLY verbally, as this won't make you look good at all. If its getting too much for you and theres no staff around, just leave and sort it out some other way. That shouldnt of happened, Can i remind anyone with a JAK or higher rank, if u are OFF DUTY take off ur tags, but even if ur off duty try and resolve problems and keep the peace, we rely more on u JAK than eva b4, we have no Admin at the minute so can u guys and girls start lookin for trouble makers and sort them as nessacery, if u come acorss someone thats really bad, Note their name down and give it to a JAK JAT or JAC, and that way we can ban the person via the IP from their name. but remember JAKs do get stressed out so dont pester them for stupid little things like oh he ran past me and hit me with his saber, On a serious note, it isnt just the JAK above that should be acting like this, All of the students here should know this place pretty well and know how we like things run, remember we are a school, a school to help people become better at the game, so if u wanna lame, im sorry but piss off to the public servers we dont need your kind here, all the JAK, JAT, JAC give their free time up to help u folks get better and to make sure u all have fun, DONT abuse our time!!! Imagine u was in our place, just step back and think, if i was a JAK/JAT/JAC how would i handle this.............
