ello everyone.. im new here.. I played jedi knight II: JO for a while but only had it on xbox.. I loved the game and now that jedi academy came out im really thinking I wanna buy it.. whats everyones opinions of it so far? I played the demo and love it.. do you think its worth 50 dollars? Ive never played multiplayer with JO because I had it for XBOX and multiplayer is what I want to play on JA.. Whatcha think? |

Fa-shizzle_m'Nizzle JA is the bomb. Buy it, you'll be hooked in a few minutes. Run as far as you can from the public servers. okey I bought jedi academy as some of you know.. ive been trying to fight on the academy servers =P trying being the keyword.. hehe im learning alot so far though.. it was definately worth the buy.. ive been playing 5 hours straight.. hope to see ya all on there. |

Welcome! Well I'm just going to say that it's not worth the $50.00 until a patch is sent out for it. I've found too many annoying bugs to call it "worth it". I'm used to alpha's being better than this. The single player is great though. The MP needs some work and currently sabering is…well…It's not what it used to be. It's less technique then JK2 or so it seems. There is definitely technique but it's not in the special moves. Which is fine with me but it would be nice if the manual would describe technique of the new system. It almost seems like chance. So maybe that element will get fixed. I say almost because often times I don't see where I went wrong and I've seen myself win in a sticky situation and not know why. I think you just have to know a little bit about each saber type and learn their weaknesses and strengths to understand what your motive should be. I would get it…well I did get it and I've found it to be worth it for the SP but don't expect MP to be anything to write home about. _______________ "Look not back in anger, nor forward in fear But around you in awareness."
