Just tried Quigon and it worked great with no modification. The sounds are missing but the skin itself works. It sure would be nice to have more skin options. Can we list working JK2 skins on the server page like the JK2 servers have? Actually, everything works that I could see except for the dual saber. Gil Gribb from Raven had this to say before JA was released: "We were going to release a converter to convert JK2 models to JA format, but one of our programmers decided to just make it so that Jedi Academy could load JK2 models, recognize they're from JK2 and automagically(tm) convert them to JA-usable models. So all downloadable player models from JK2 should work in JA! Sabers should work too, plus modders will find they have much more control over adding lightsabers (using a new external data file for lightsabers - using the extention .sab, not unlike our .npc files for NPCs last game) and easier to add them to the game (it will find the .sab and automagically(tm) make them available in the menus). JK2 maps should also load okay in JA." So I guess the dual saber glitches are BUGS... MORE BUGS... ARRRRRRG! _______________ Gone but hopefully not forgotten... |

I believe you are right noob  i transferred most of the jk2 skins i had to jk3 and work fine! I have lots of fun with my maul model and hilt  Power Duel is much more fun now beacause i have the ep1 obi and qui gon and power duel in the generator room is.... The skins on that Jedi Moves site have the same problem with dual sabers as I was saying. The taunt animation and the kata animation are glitched. Otherwise they work A-OK. I don't know if the glitch prevents the damage from occurring or not. I would need someone's help to test that  _______________ Gone but hopefully not forgotten... |
