Ok not so dumb then. I thought I was the only one who didn't know. It was GMT or ZULU when I got out of the NAVY a few years ago. Any idea as to when UTC replaced GMT?:alliance:

UTC: Universal Coordinated Time (formerly known as Greenwich Mean Time [GMT] or Zulu {zero} Time [Z]). Midnight (0000 UTC) starts the 24 hour clock at the zero meridian.

in other words, what jacen said :P

PS: there are no dumb questions, only weird answers :)

Most certainly not a dumb question. :)

Yes, I believe GMT and UTC are the same.
