I haven't had a problem with them being to fast but I have noticed that a lot of them don't connect when either side involved wins. The standard ones anyway. Almost all of the fancy ones I have seen(with dual sabers one goes flying from your hand, circles behind the opponent and tries to cut them in two) do connect and usually result in a kill. The outright kill isn't so satisfying but it is annoying to not recieve any advantage at all. Just my $.02.:alliance:

Saber locks need some serious tweaking... Some barely last long enough for you to realize you're in a lock, then they end fatally. Bah, I say. :P

Then again, I've always hated them. :D

i love saber locks, all of a sudden the old skool days of nintendo's "track and field" kick in as you have to mash your attack button wildly to try to win. :D

i've never had a saber lock battle loss that kills me if i hit attack as fast as i can. that's not to say that i've not lost (i've lost plenty), but the other person's attack doesn't do as much damage (or kill you) if you put up a good fight, from what i've seen so far anyway.

i am curious to learn how (or if) direction keys and mouse movement affect the saber lock battles. that could be why you're always losing maybe? i'm not well versed enough to say, which is why i'd like to learn more about them.

I know to break a lock you just tap primary attack rapidly, in JK2 I would win locks more often than not. In JA I have not won ONE. It's not even a struggle, I get into a lock with someone and before I know it I am getting cut down. And since now loosing locks can be fatal it is kind of frustrating. Am I missing something? Or do I just suck? :(
