Well,
My Padawan made Knight, and I guess it was impressive. It was impromptu, so I missed it, was at work. But a great congratulations to him. That being said, I have a vacancy for a Padawan. I have decided to take two. Damon Chessius is the first, and can bear the Belouve name if he wishes. As for the second, I have a few in mind, but I will leave this post open for you to appeal to me. The goal here is to appeal to me, for a Belouve is not as much about HOW you fight, but who you are. So, if interested, APPEAL to me. You don't know what might do it. It might be a well-constructed thought, it might be a dumb joke against the French. (disclaimer: I am in Political Science, we make MANY jokes against the French. But really we like you. Or at least I do.) Also, be prepared to wear the Belouve name. I may or may not make that a part of it. It's not a clan thing, or one of my ego things, its to remind you what you are doing this for, for whatever the Belouve name means to you. So have at it. You can try to impress me in your skills in the servers, but appeal to me here or there. And good luck! I get to spoil them to no end, then let their Master try to deal with them. And I will get them BIG stuff for their birthdays, etc., so that it makes their Master look bad. Just like real life grandparents! p.s. Council guys, TRY to limit the number of Belouves on any one server. We had 4 on at once, and that was almost too much, almost created a chain reaction that would have eradicated the Academy. Annd Bubu, thanks for noticing that double post. That just makes me more confused. But...for the Belouve Family, let me draw out a tree, as best I can under this format. First Generation: Ulic Belouve Second Generation: Bubu Damon C. Belouve Ioshee Third Generation: Dani Sared fiZZ So, as Bubu said, we are multiplying like rabbits. We just need a female in our midst, or its looks REALLY strange, lol. Maybe I'll try to fit Ael'Ra in our midst. But it is great to have such a large family here. I hope to run into all different generations (and to keep track of them). Apparently, if I am to be a GOOD master, each generation will be better than the one before it. Bubu, Damon, and Ioshee will be better than me, and Dani, Sared, and fiZZ better than the 2nd Generation. So far, I see that probably happening, and I'll be glad when that does. Confused Vaughn? Let me explain:
I will put all quotes of posts between [ and ] so that you can distinguish them. And Bubu, that would be funny if that hadn't actually happened tonight on the server Thanks Bubu.] I didn’t capitalize it, but I did put the word “server” instead of “serve” Also when I said “And Bubu, that would be funny…” I was referring to the action Bubu had written previously and the fact that he kept beating me in duels on the server that night. So I caught my mistake and while I was correcting it, Bubu read my post and responded with: [you will server your name well? do you need a special program for that or some kinda microsoft product?] (Hehe that made me laugh Bubu) So then I posted this: [It's a microsoft product that told me "server" was good to go when I spell checked my post Hehe if you will notice I edited it a minute before you corrected me Vaughn... I mean Bubu] I made the joke off his Microsoft joke that I had spell checked my post in word, but that it had not caught the error because it was not spelled wrong (just the wrong word for the context.) I also pointed out to him that I edited my post to change the word “server” to “serve” before he even posted that I had made a mistake. Then just to tease you Vaughn, I called Bubu Vaughn. That was a reference to the fact that you always correct people mistakes on the forums. Does that make it any less confusing for you V-man? It has been decided....
The list of the 4 I chose were as follows. Ioshee....was top, if he wanted it and could fight well, he would have it. In close runnerups, in no particular order, was M-Blade, Ael'Ra, and Vaughn. Ioshee has made the spot, with some impressive talent. I will hope that any or all of those who left a message here will feel comfortable approaching any member of the Belouve Family. If you have any qustions, we will be happy to field them. Anything I send to my Padawans will be mostly open to all, in terms of basic lessons and such. But keep your heads up, you may yet be a Belouve, when the family spreads. And beware, with all 4 of us on one server, I nearly laughed myself to death. I propose a rule/mod that will limit the amount of Belouves on any one server. But, well, that's all I have to say. I hope to see all of you around in the coming weeks. Congrats to Ioshee for becoming the newest member. I have no doubt you will make us proud, nothing you can do will take that pride away. (Well, maybe not NOTHING. If you sodomize a little green muppet reknowned throughout the galaxy, we might shun you.) So...time for me to sleep. _______________ Jedi do not fight for peace.
