is it possible to become a knight without becoming a paddy? the reason i ask is that xanatos was gonna be my master, but we never really got round to training. could someone please post the criteria for the trials, then maybe ill try for some nominations once i improve a bit more, im getting better all the time.

Also is it possible to become a knight just for jk3? i dunno i really prefer this mp to the jk2 and its not that likely ill switch between the games much anymore, what with this game supposedly so easy to mod. JK racing, need i say more?

Well, unofficial, but Jake has given me two goldstars for it, so I guess I can allow myself to put it in the description. ;)

First of all: JAK is not a rank you just get. :) Basically you have to help others, not be too selfish, be somewhat skilled (but this is NOT the most important field for a JAK, so no, 1337 players can't just go out and become a JAK :)), help the JAT/JAC's and perhaps most important, respect everyone. They keep the peace on the servers, assist the JAT's in class and help students.

It also takes some time before you can become a JAK, the JAT's have to nominate you and they will only do that if they think you could be a good JAK, and it takes some time for them to get to know you and evaluate you.

You have to get 1 nomination to take the written test and you must have 3 nominations all in all to take the trial (which is tough... have I heard).

Hope that helped. :)

If you wait a bit Jacen will copy/paste the criteria for becoming a JAK.
No, you don not need to have a Master to become a Jedi Knight.

I consider myself honored to be the Padawan of Master Mace Windu. I have learned alot from him and had alot of fun in doing so. Being a Jedi Knight is not just a name or rank but the way you hold yourself. There is alot to be gained from being an apprentice. I have gained knowledge in combat and other things from Master Mace Windu but most of all I have gained a good friend. I think that if you re-think your question you will find it best in the long run to apprentice under someone. :alliance:
