Dark side moves?

There are darkside moves in the game! At least I think so. If this has been discussed before, sorry, but can someone please explain to me what happens when our force pools glow red? I noticed Alora using some moves I didn't recognize, and once a dual-sabered reborn caught me in a saber lock with one saber and threw the other. I did that once, too. My force pool went dark red, and I attacked with one saber and threw the other. Any ideas?

O2B-1Dai, saber locks happen when similar attacks from both people happen at the same time. so if you want to get into a saberlock convince another person to stand directly in front of you and then you both face each other and hit attack at the same time. (maybe do it on the count of 1, 2, 3...)

if you both just stand there and hold down the attack button chances are you'll get into a saber lock soon enough. of course you might kill each other a handful of times in the process. :D

Does anyone know how to increase the chances of a saberlock? I love 'em and I want to see what they all look like...but I don't know how to increase the chances. Anyone know?

Ahh ok. For some reason I have not seen that. But have only had a couple locks in Multi Player duels. Never had one in single player.

Actually, what I think he's trying to say is that when using two lightsabers and in a saber lock, he threw one saber around his opponent while keeping the other in the lock. This isn't a darkside move, I've done it without turning dark. There is a similar move with the double-bladed where you push the opponent's blade so far that the can be used to attack.
Damn, now that I think of it, why ISN'T there dark moves? That'd be sweet!

In fact, you're going to have to try very hard to stay alive Nick.
Now do you understand everything that I have said? Because if you don't, I'll kill you!"

If i understand you properly ...

When you try a move that uses force power and you do not have enough force power available it shows in red on the meter.

Also, the Saber Throw is available to all players in Single, Duel, and Staff configuration. You hit the second attack button, for single and duel, For the Staff you have to change your staff to a single and then use the second attack button. In Staff mode hitting the second attack button and a movement direction will kick in that direction.

To set your force powers to be able to throw a saber when you log into a server, check the force power settings in your profile and make sure the setting for throw is to a level 3. If a server does not allow the throw that option will be "greyed out" so you can't add it.
