"Full Force if needed"--This headline appeared on the Front page of a Toronto newspaper this morning.
Many people believed that these words from yesterday's State of the Union address were in reference to the potential war on Iraq. However, in an interview afterward President Bush indicated that it was actually a secret message for members of the Jedi Academy. When questioned further Bush explained that it was a strategy to deal with Jedi Terrorist who continually storm the sacred temple with GUNS. He said, "They must disarm, or we will use FULL FORCE if needed to stop them. Please folks, keep the GUNS OUT of the temple. Thank you. Actually, I do know what President "elect" means, and I recognized your little slap at Bush.
But regardless of how the popular vote came out, we elect via the electoral college, which Bush won. And for the record, during the campaign process, I remember Gore making a quote to the effect that he fully supported the electoral college, and that our rules as such shouldn't change. Guess he regrets saying that

It doesn't take much to get peoples feathers up. Yes Al Gore did when the popular vote. States with the most population had a majority vote for Al Gore. When all was said and done the majority vote throughout the U.S. was for Al Gore by just a little bit. No I do not remember what the numbers were. The source was not the media but public records. Go to your library and look yourself! As for Al Gore No I did not vote for him and I’m glad I didn't. I think he should have left well enough alone with Florida. I think it was a disgrace to call for a recount. Any damn fool could have seen he wasn't going to win that state. Stop trying to understand what side I'm on. I'm on no fool’s side. I do not care for the fashion show our country puts on when it's time for elections. Like I said: I was just bitch-slapping George W. Bush all in good fun. Please do not take my bitterness as a sign of fact about me. It's all just to get some feathers up. That I did! I'm really not a mean person you know. I just say things sometimes to be mean to people I don't care for. I'd probably act real creepy and geeked to meet the president. So like I said I'm on no side. Dop, please give your definition of President elect, and please share what you feel the "majority" wants with evidence to back it up. Thanks.
If you are referring to what I think you are (Al winning the popular vote) then I would love to see where you are getting your information. Al Gore winning the popular vote was only speculation by the (liberal) media and I have never seen any documented support for that theory. If that is not what you are referring to then please excuse this ignorant post. Hehe. *I’m not mad. Some body doesn't know what president elect means. I suggest you find that out before you read some book with a neat little title. I would however like to say that I am not a democrat. I mean of course I believe in democracy but I don't take sides the way most U.S. citizen’s do. I don't like George W. Bush because he is just like my Dad. Maybe I didn't say that before. What matters to me is that the will of the people is done. Without that, you have a dictatorship. The majority have spoken and are being ignored. So what I meant by president "elect".
