Some one I know it leaving because of the ragnos map its not the fact that there is a *rude room* on the map, the person said that its the fact that people are going there when they are playing and are rubbing it in that persons face. If u r on the map and are going to the room don't u can go to them room on a solo game SO STOP IT !!!!!!!!!!!! And there should be some warning about the content within the map People of the age of 10 play this game, I don’t think its right that they can see thing like that on a game like this, and I am angry that “The JA” hasn’t done any thing to try and fix the situation. I think everyone has made their opinions clear and before anymore hostility emerges I'm going to close the thread. The map clearly violates the rules of the JA and must be removed. Most of us don't have a problem with it but someone will, trust me. Everyone stop a moment. Please. If not, someone will post something they will regret. I'm not even gonna post my opinion on this, it would inflame things...All I'm gonna do is provide info. The person who has a problem with the map is being talked to on their profile right now, by thos ewho were there. Anni, we both know who we're talking about...I understand and appreciate that you are sticking up for an interpretation of the rules and the person involved, and that is fine...and good...but let's find out what he/she  says about that first. OK?Please, I can't take anyone's right to speak away (nor would I want to...I could be wrong as usual) but I would ask everyone to think for one moment before posting more. Regardless of which side you take, everyone appreciates that this is a sensitive issue. To add to this could push things a little further. I know that the people here that have no problem with the map are not sick, twisted individuals (except Jacen...j/k ), nor are the others being oversensitive...just different sides, k?If you still feel bad about the map after the person involved has spoken, then talk to the JACs. Aight. That map being on JA servers is entirely my fault. Why? 1st - We don't have an official teaching map for the Academy yet. That was the best one that I know off to teach classes because it has a big room very similar to a class room and several small rooms that can be used for private teaching. 2nd - I did not know about that room until recently. 3rd - It is not porn. Yes I agree having a small room 4 pictures with half naked women it's not a good thing. But please don't call it porn or ppl will think there are pictures of explicit sex there. Now that map is in Wireplay and in the Classes server for classes purposes. The room is hidden and plp do not respawn there or fall there by accident. They only go there because they want to. Like I said that map is the best one for classes that I know off but if you find me a better one I'll remove it. No, Mace is actually got it wrong, so are you Kyp, it is accesable if you break a peice of rock near the pit of the lava, there you can teleport into the room, now I would have no beef at all if it was only accessable with cheats on, but still I had my little brother (only 10 or 11) open up the PK3 file to look at the music or the textures, and he opened up these 4 textures and went 'What the hck?!' Just a few days ago on PCGamemods.com and saw a Nude Pack, (Yes Jan and Tavion were actually nude) on a site that anyone can access it. But let's face it guys, people are idiots, and there is nothing you can do about it, the only thing pCGamemods.com could do was delete it, is that gonna change that twisted perverts mind? NO! So, girls, you are just going to either get off the server when there are perverted men on the map, or deal with it. Peace out! I cant say that i am onloine-people person, my philosphy when it comes to the JA is just let my saber do all the talking for me, but i feel that i need to say something about this "subject". I enjoy the ragnos map, to tell you the truth, i just recently noticed "the room", i can see where ppl might get offended, but you have to understand that there are images and themes all over the place, abd yuo can ban this map and call it a day, but the truth of the matter is, it's still there. I go into the jedi academy servers alot, i read conversations, and get to know all of you, and belive me when i say this, there is alot more worse things the students and teachers talk about then can ever come from that one room ( which i should remind you, shows no actuall nudity) You guys are probably going to take the map off, which is a shame, the jvun and other default maps get old, but this will solve nothing, sexual themes, and nudity are all out there, students and teachers, everyone discusses it, heh, just go to the mirc chat chances are youll catch virtue hitting katarn with a ****** Thank you for your time -Kyp Durron |

Yes, the room is disturbing, the mapper is some moron pervert that can't get anything in RealLife, and probably thinks it is funny to put a "Secret Room" in his map. But yes, I agree with my Master Katan, that is a stupid reason for leaving the Academy. But, Katan, there is no way to make this map suitable, I mean they can put something in the motd, but they cannot edit the acutal map itself, unless we can pry the file needed to edit it from the mappers cold perverted hands Peace out, and perverts... get a damn magazine instead of brining it into a Star Wars Game! _______________ Padawan to the great Katan JA Brother to D@RTHM@ULR.I.P. Hmm, this is a difficult matter indeed. I can understand that the room might be disturbing. But personally, I dont find it porn as it does not show any of the "parts" that are generally considered as porn. Its all covered up nicely. Also I have to agree with the fact that its a room that can be entered freely. No pressure there. But, I indeed agree that people should not make such a big deal about it and rub it in other peoples faces. |

But on the fact of leaving because people are in that room, doing whatever they may be doing is a stupid reason. No one said you had to go in.
