Hello all,
I was just wondering what your thoughts are on the following plan: next summer holidays, we could have a JA meeting in real live! There are probably some time problems though, but I think it could be done. _______________ -Retired april the 19th 2004 |

Hell! I live in St. Charles, MO. All I can say is that I see Phoenix and everyday of my life. Well I go to school with him. And we are in BoyScouts together. But the point is that we should all buy a T-shirt and on a "special day" wear that shirt. Now the shirts will all be the exact same. From I dont know T-shirt.com or whatever. And then if you ever spot another academy user well you can have a fun o'chappy time. And we would know who we all are.

Just remember one thing: Take LOTS of pics and maybe film the event so that the others (like me) can see it. Since I'm only 14 there's not much chance I can go. |

oh, come on, Mauly, interrail is always cool. hook on with some mates, and its always fun. check out the zones u get - I know southern europe is worth the trip - but its in another zone. its awfully cheap and soo much fun. so we might even hook on some other locations. DJ, if you are cheking hotel prices could you check out the price for a week.
I won't go to Dalls for a weekend only. Too much expensive. I'm considering making it my Summer vacations so if you could check out the hotel price for 1 week I would apreciate it

I was talking with people on IRC. This meet in Dallas would happen in either late july or early august. And would take up one weekend. I asked my gf if it would be cool if 2 max ppl crashed at my place for the duration.. she said that was cool, and she expects to see nerds fighting with light saber replicas.
What to do though? Some people want a "Texas" experience. I know a honky tonk or 2 downtown, but i don't know what the non-drinkers and underagers could do with that. :/ I'm open to suggestions on this. LAN gaming comes to mind, but I don't knwo whod want to lug their rigs out for this. I'll also look into hotel accomodations, maybe we can get a group discount going and can have a cool LAN going on in a conference room or something. Isn't this what corporate sponsors are for? _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |

Well, you've all been scarred by seeing what I look like in real life, through my profile pic. And yes, I do wear that robe everywhere. Makes wardrobe selection much easier. "Let's see, should I wear the brown robe, the brown robe, or the...hell, I'll just go with the brown robe."
But anyways, you know what I look like, and so far I've not had any issues with it (cept for that one guy, but he's locked in the JA basement, the lost temple, and now he can't get out 'cuz we sealed it off.) But I met Hector in real life. I see him all too often, and just look at how it scarred me. I'm not sure if I can stand to meet anyone else in real life. Ah, so my thought has no real point. Would be cool for all the people from Germany and everything that's nearby (HOLLAND!!!!!!!!) To meet in a city and misbehave so badly the cops are going to beat us to pulp. No, now serious, I think it would be very cool to meet some other Dutch people and from Germany (and maybe danmark HINT TITO). Frankly, I think it would be quite impossible to arrange something as big as this, but it's nice to talk about
