Hello all,
I was just wondering what your thoughts are on the following plan: next summer holidays, we could have a JA meeting in real live! There are probably some time problems though, but I think it could be done. _______________ -Retired april the 19th 2004 |

back to the original question. i believe a mixture of djs and charons idea would be cool. my dad has to go this year for work so i think it would be cool if we rented a huge ass confrence room and set up a lan. we could also visit e3. _______________ "this is Icco. I played back in the VIE beta days and stopped around the time they started charging for it.  I heard VIE dropped the project a few years back, but hadn't heard much from it since then. It's good to see it's still around. Tonight I think I will play it.  _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |

hehe i still have the original cd I started in '96, and quitted last year really, because of the community that deteriorated... It was no more fun in my honest opinion. The entire game consists of people shouting n00b, cheet0r, hax0r and stuff like that, so i had enough after 6 nice years

In '00, the sysop of Trench Wars, Priitk, decided to improve the subspace client, which is now evolved into Continuum, because of legal matters. The latest version is 0.37, at least it was when i left. Yes, i was a vet there *oooh* and it was definately the greatest game i ever played, the greatest game ever created, in my opinion. Too bad people need to ruin it  |

DUDE you played Supspace???? Subspace is the reason I dropped out of college the 1st time.
It's called continum now? Wheres a URL for it? GIMMEH. Seriously. Subspace was the BEST online game EVER. It's a top down 2D space fighting game. You could have 100's of ppl on a map and get no lag with a 28.8k modem. I'd LOVE to get back into that. _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |

I already did that some time ago with a lot of people i know from a game i used to play a LOT, since the beginning, as one of the phew actually *called subspace, now continuum*.
It was quite a success, people came all the way from finland to holland for the meeting, which was 4 days. Even so, i decided to keep real life and "this" separated, and im not going to change that now |

I met doobie once briefly and didnt talk to him much because we were running a JAT meeting from 2 computers in my house in different rooms. I was thinking at E3 we could all get together in Vegas and try to score with the booth babes. I heart they LOVE Star Wars gamers. With glow in the dark skin from lack of sunlight.

Hmmm, I've been proposing ppl that we could meet this summer on some tropical place like Cancun. But that envolves some money and time .
I like the idea of a Euro and USA meeting. How about if we all meet on the Academy aniversery ? I've got 3 members in my neighbourhood, so that's no problem to arrange a mini-meeting
