Wow, never have i had such a better warm welcome to a site than this one. I have forseen that my stay here will be most enjoyable. A little about my self. I am a computer Technition, Very hardcore Star Wars and Star Trek fan Diehard Jediknight Gamer, alredy beaten ALL Dark Forces games thousands of times. Welcome to the Academy. I recommend reading the rules, FAQ, and About Us before you hop on the servers. How to enroll to a class: Go to the Classes page and find a class which sounds interresting. Click details. In there you find description, server, time (don't forget to set that in "My Profile" , instructor, etc. To enroll, just press the button "Enroll" under the enrolled students list.A good class to start out with could be http://www.thejediacademy.net/class_detail.php?f_id=174 As for the Knight stuff, I'll give ya my routine, please forgive me: First of all: JAK is not a rank you just get. Basically you have to help others, not be too selfish, be somewhat skilled (but this is NOT the most important field for a JAK, so no, 1337 players can't just go out and become a JAK ), help the JAT/JAC's and perhaps most important, respect everyone. They keep the peace on the servers, assist the JAT's in class and help students. It also takes some time before you can become a JAK, the JAT's have to nominate you and they will only do that if they think you could be a good JAK, and it takes some time for them to get to know you and evaluate you. You have to get 1 nomination to take the written test and you must have 3 nominations all in all to take the trial (which is tough... have I heard). Hope that helped. ©2003 Jacen Aratan |
