I thought this would fit better on this forum than any other so tell me what you think. I talked to c1 about this some but he said if I want to do anything with it then I am going to have to get some more work done on it.
Lightsabers. In the movies we see a strict patter for lightsabers. The light jedi use green and blue and the dark jedi use red. With th exception of Mace Windu (purple), we have seen no other non-conformist colors except in the books. There, we see a wide array of colors and patterns. My question is, if I can get it to work, would everyone like the chance to customize their own lightsaber color? If you want to look at what I am refering to, look at Omnimod (download it from jkii.net) It has seperate RGB sliders that allow you to adjust the color, intensity, and shade of the blade. If I wen't through the trouble of getting something like that together (or ripping Omnimod apart to get it) then would you guys use it? P.S. PLEASE don't start a debate on lightsaber color conformity, not here at least  _______________ I'm crazy, not stupid. |

i love the idea but i was wondering if the blade could have 2 colors like corran horns saber. it's inside is a light purple and slowly fades to white

I think that would be awesome! I like the idea for the custom skinz too. The only problem I can see is that not everyone knows how to make skins or wants to. 
As far as the sabre color, I'd be really impressed if you could somehow make a "rainbow colored" one. (no, I'm not  ) Then I can be a hippy Jedi!

Okay, I have been tearing apart Omnimod for a while now and I think I have most of the core componets that I want. when i was a kid i would kind of quasi-roleplay jedis at school. hehe. =-\. i had a black lightsaber that, instead of giving off light, it was black and obsorbed light like a black hole, doing much more damage then a regular lightsaber. then a few years later i realized how rediculous that is and felt like an idiot. |

yeah the omni mod style sliders are great. It's kinda a small detail but its the little things that all add up after a while.

Just to note, the video games used other colours as well, or at least JPB did. That's the reason I carry orange, in Jedi Power Battles, Plo Koon had an orange saber.
I'm certian that alot of the academy would appriciate, and use this if it were added to the JA mod. I'd have to say though, that I'm sticking with an homage to my favourite Jedi Master, Plo Koon.
