Ok then , a little tale and question and stuff, Today I was alone in JA home server then someone joined, cant remember exact name somthing like Liolth. We played several duels and i got pwned  Then they said, "how do you get training at the academy" So i explained about classes and what have you, and mentioned about setting time zones in my profile. "Oh, ok so do you sign up on the site aswell?" Now this puzzled me at first. "So you havn't joined the academy ?" "nope," "How did you get the password?" "Brute hack" "Woah !" "Is that so wrong ???" Now technicaly i can't see anywhere in the Rules saying not to hack the server passwords, LOL And this person was a generaly nice person , did nothing wrong/Rude, etc. Therefor i see no reason why they shouldn't be allowed to join, but just wondering what comments you have about this , I found it rather funny actually, you should have seen my face when he said "Brute hack" lol mtfbwy, Squibit Belouve _______________ Quote: fiZZe: its SIR Fizzy Fluffy :p Quote: FiZZ[JAK]: that was what I call a counter Ah, things you only ever expect to hear once  |

Although the IP changes there i a little thing called Hotmask. For example. Lets say "Lamming Bob" has a dynamic IP and his present IP is 69.69.69.69. His hot mask could be a69-69-69-69.lammingbobnetwork.com. Now if he ip changed to something like 69.69.233.87 or whatevah. His hotmask would still be very similar. Like a69-69-233-87.lammingbobnetwork.com . That means we start memorising these hotmasks. Thats how we know when ashley logs in, or spawn, or loaf or whoever starts trouble around. I always thought the passwords were there for everyone to see, not just members. People have to sign up and get the passes once they login in to the site. Your not allowed to give out the password to anyone, Just tell them you hate to be rude by they have to check the site for themselves. If they hack the password then they will probably be banned. NEVER GIVE OUT ANY PASSWORDS. I dont like the idea of open servers. Well I think the reason for non open servers is basically that you always have a server to play on. Members in the JA are (mostly all) Respected and non Laming people. So they can play on those servers. But if we start opening them, they will nodoubtly be full almost every day since they are good causing us to not be able to join anymore. |

I think he's talking out of his arse... chances are, he's got a friend in the JA who gave them the password. Personally, I don't have a problem with these kind of folks as long as they've signed up already, and behave. Everyone makes mistakes... he maybe thought the passwords were allowed to be given out. The guy he got the passwords from, assuming that's how he got them, on the other hand, should be punished BY DEATH! err... |

Im sure that DJ and the staff will look into this matter and any like them in the future. Anyone who hacks a server for fun or otherwise needs to be held responsible for their actions.
