I'm a little concerned about the number of new Knights that are turning out these days. Everytime i check the site, I can see at least one or two Knights being announce. I'd like to ask, what is the Council thinking? What's their purpose at promoting so many Knights? I'm just a little concerned that the sacredness and value of being a Jedi Knight may get a little tarnished because of this. Anyway, that's my two cents. _______________ memento mori |

Loads of people were knight material/worthy, but theres a limit. You can't just have everyone who deserves it being a knight, otherwise we'd have hundreds instead of dozens  Loads left, silencio, freedon naad, me, monty and exar promoted etc. This left gaps. Gentleman, In case you haven't noticed the we have lots of complaints about lamming, lack of classes etc. Now the main purpose of a JAK is peace keeping, but they are also allowed to teach. So we dont need a lot of JATs and few JAKs. It's all the way around. We need a high number of JAKs to patrol the servers and help with the teching. And a medium group of good JATs. As soon as the JK3 MOD comes out I want to have at least 1 JAK online 24/7. So if you think we have many JAKs now, wait a couple of months and you will see a whole lot more. Not only we had the number of JAKs droped by inactivity we will get a few new JATs soon so the number of knights will decrease again. This number will be compensated by aquiring as many new JAKs as the ones promoted to JAT and increased in order to meet the correct studet X knights ration. Yeah, and only 4 of the 10 are allowed to teach JK:JA classes if I'm not mistaking. |

Can I suggest something? We've got alot of experienced JAKs now... maybe it's time to start noticing who might be ready to take the JAT trials? We've only got 10 trainers... and I pesonally think that isn't enough to let a majority of students attend every class the JA is offering. |

yep, Silk, very true. just look at the JAS <> JAK ratio... its still very very low. It's true that there have been a lot of promotions. However, one of the goals for a while has been to empty the trial list. That means promoting people. And trust me, everyone that we've promoted deserves it. All of the newly promoted Knights were chosen unanimously by the JAKs, JATs, and JACs. Believe me, a lot of thought goes into these things. In case you didn't notice there were a few people removed from the Knight rank due to inactivity. The Council is simply filling in the positions left vacant. Another point is that we have a lot more members at the moment and they like to have a certain number to help deal with all of the students here. If they show any kind of misconduct, take some screenies, make a demo, if your not the only one who sees it get the others on the server to vouch for you, and I'm sure the council will do something about it. If you haven't noticed we also lost a few Knights, and that may be part of the reason why we are getting more new ones. Knights are practically powerless right now since we don't have any type of admin mod.
