Hello all im new to the Academy and im having troubles finding the servers as well as finding any mods or maps i might need to play on the servers can somone help me out please  thanks in advance_______________ If ya ever need somthing destroyed call me glad to help :-) |

the 1.4 mod you can download at the official JKII: JA site, i believe it's at www.lucastarts.com Search the site for game updates, and you'll find it. You'll need the mod in order to play with the servers here, since it fixes a lot of the problems in the original. As for the server packs, the basic necessity you need is DJ's server pack, which contains most of the skins here at the JA. Of course it's pretty big, but it's worth it. Also, if you need more info on the servers or whatever, there's that handy link off to your left "Servers" and it contains all of the files you could ever want to download for the JA. If you're looking for basics, dl DJ's server pack and all of the JA maps here. Maybe you should also download the patches, as our servers run the 1.04 (or is it 1.4) patch on jk2. The jk3 servers on the other hand run with the 1.01 patch.... Have fun at this place cya some time... _______________ I know the pieces fit, 'cause i watched them fall away... |

hehe, what windu said...welcome do you want to play jk2 or jk3? for jk2 you dont need to worry about MODs because it is serverside. for jk3 you dont have to worry about them because there arent any. to find out information on the servers...make sure you are logged into the site, and click on the "servers" link on the left hand side. that will list all the servers, jk2 and jk3. there you will see the IP address and the password to get on the server. on each of the server's pages, there will be a list of maps/skins/saber packs/etc etc. things like maps you should download. as for skins/saber packs and those types of things...those are optional. but definatly get the maps This comment was edited by aph3x on Nov 18 2003 04:05pm. |
