LOTR is pretty nice, I've read the books and watched the movies. Still, I'm not that kind who sleeps over at the cinema to get tickets for the premiere, I'll watch the third movie when I feel like it. the books are well written, and the films are good, that's all I have to say. _______________ -Darkwood- |

I've read the original novel, The Hobbit, Lost Tales 1 and 2, Unfinished Tales, the Atlas of Middle Earth, the Languages of Middle Earth, The Silmarillion, the Complete guide to Middle Earth (kind of an encyclopedia, but I've used it enough to have read it , and the biography of Tolkien By Tom Shippey. Also, read alot of the Articles by Martinez, which are really great, by the way.... Sup, Based on a Q3 engine some company could probably make a pretty sweet LoTR games,or some could make a mod. I read the books, but the films don't work that well. They look K0ol, but the second one could have been cut up to make a fantastic end to the first film, and a gr8 start to the last one. The Ents really annoy me, why are they there (in the films), they attack the towrer, that's it! All this discusing what they should do, it takes too long, I know it is meant to, but P.Jackson could have given this impression, not played it out in full.  I hope the finale is better than the last film, as it really ruins he books for me, as I won't be able to get the films images out of my head Sorry just my own opinion.
