Ok, I have my server.cfg file ready, I've set up the shortcut to JampDeD.exe file, but I just dont have a clue what to do now, can some body please tel me what to do? _______________ Spack attack!!!! |

Thanks a lot guys, I have it working now. I cant post an IP really because I am still using dial up so my IP is constantly changing My current IP is 62.253.12.243: 29071 But that probably won't work if you try, I'll post a proper one when I get BB. _______________ Spack attack!!!! |

Right. Go to GameFaqs, search for Jedi Academy. There should also be a dedicated server guide there. |

that link doesn't work (atleast not for me...). go to your JampDeD shortcut, right click -> properties. in the first box, named 'Target', you should have something like this written: "X:\...\LucasArts\Star Wars JK Jedi Academy\GameData\jampDed.exe" where X:\...\LucasArts\Star Wars JK Jedi Academy is where you installed the game... now, behind that, you should add this text, which will start up your server.cfg and add a port number. (the port number is only necessary if you want to play on it on the same pc.) ok, here's the text: "X:\...\LucasArts\Star Wars JK Jedi Academy\GameData\jampDed.exe" +set net_port 29071 +exec server.cfg try starting the jampded server now. this works for me..  if you need any more help, join #jedi-academy on Quakenet, lots of folks there can help you out. good luck _______________ -Darkwood- |
