I am thinking about making a JAS Sniping Team. For thoose of you who have played a sniping duel match with me would know what im talking about. What we can do is like form 2 teams within the Academy and/or the JASE and have matches between each other. Kinda like with siege. The way the game would be handled is 2 teams one on each side of a map , no crossing sides. The you use only sniping and the disrupter to kill the team. If we would have JAT's and JAK's pose as refs to make sure no one is cheating it would be great. The only force powers use can use is: (Since we will be using the disrupter mod no healing or draining to get back health would be possible cause of the 1 shot kills Neutral: Speed , Jump No other force power is allowed. Im not through punching out all the rules and details. Ok people the JAST is gonna go for a name change. I thought of the name JAST as Jedi Academy Sniping Team but thers also the Jedi Academy Seige Team and they had their name first so we have to try to figure out a new name for the team. This isnt like the instagib team because the instagib team i believe is used for CTF and FFA. This is gonna be more like 2 teams dueling each other no crossing the sides. Jacen I have talked to Luke about this already and he said to set up a post and a poll to see if anyone is interested in it first. After that we can really get started on punching out the details. Well To punch out some of the details. The matches would be held between 2 teams. The maps chosen will be one with 2 sides one for each team, obsticles in the ways for hiding behind and a midway point for people not to cross. As for the rules thats about it no crossing and the force powers that are allowed are listed above. Anyone caught using seein level 3 will be disqualified and the team will automatically lose. When a certain person on your team crosses the line he/she is out. Shooting a person on your team takes you out. There will be 3 matches in each game. The teams who wins best out of 3 will be the winner of the game. Teams will be made up of 5 people. We can ahve various teams and have a sort of tournament if the JAC's JAT's and JAK's allow it. As for the maps i would like to see if any good mapper in the academy would like to volunteer to make us a Sniper Dueling map. Virtue Kicks butt at mapping maybe he would help out. As for any mods the mod we will use is the Disrupter mod or Instagib. It would be easier then having to go out for a gun and ammo all the time. More rules will follow as i think them up. Well more details will be put out later i havent really thought them out yet. And this isnt a definate yet. I still have to see if anyone is interested then i can talk to the JAC's JAT's, and JAK's.
