I'm not a big fan of multi-neck guitars and such... With the exception of Steve Vai and Michael Angelo, they're for lame kids in modern rock bands who don't even use them for their actual function. FEH to them! |

yeah, that's the idea Pat metheny has a lot of custom built guitars There's only one in the entire world who has it, and who can play this thing And JJ: Yes, the cross-strings are pre-tuned into certain cords, to sound somewhat like a harp. I saw him play this thing, and man... it's unbelievable He only performs in the US lately, but if he performs near you, i'd really recommend going there if you like Jazz music, and odd guitars like this one -A |

I think chances are that the main six-string section is tuned to standard (EADGBe) and the rest being pre-tuned into chords. That must be a real bitch to maintain though. The sound isn't all that great, but I dig the concept. Maybe with one sound-hole... or even an external pickup... and it'd sound great. |
