Well, i admit this is going back a stretch but back before the summer i was looking into designing my hockey club's website using php and mysql and was checking with DJ over space requirements for a server, he reckoned back then that Quote: The site code and layout images themselves are only about ~350K... Static websites generally don't take up much room at all. If you're hosting files thats another story though. The ammount of threads and replies arent really that big in size in a database...it can hold a great deal of info.... DJ said the site takes around 1GB of space including all the big files like DJ's server pack and so on... I'm not sure what the exact figure is though. _______________ make install -not war |

its in a database. and stuff. there not too many records....i mean...not alot really in comparison with some.... i'd estimate about 40gigs of space would hold this forum up for a long time. but i dunno....im not really a database person. but i like typing. seE? haha. im awesome at typing. i just typed all of this in about 3 seconds. hmm |
