Many questions on JA | |

1) Recently I played on a CTF server called "Chop Shop". I used the Dark Side of the force and only put points on Force Lightning, Drain, Grip, Team Energize, Jump, Push, Speed, Pull, and Sense, not saber skills whatsoever. I used the force to kill people, i.e. using lightening or grip dropping them. After a while, after I killed someone with a Disrupter Rifle and a couple bursts of lightening, he called me a force freak. I was just wondering, is using only force being a "lamer"? There are many weak points it like not being able to block saber attacks and running out of force quickly. 2) Is there any mod that only lets you use single sabers in a duel map? It would bring back a little JK2 to JA. Just wondering... 3) I've saber challenged this one guy in FFA with dual sabers. He kept using a move that was similar to the butterfly. I was wondering if the lunge attack in blue stance is a good counter to that too. Thanks in advance. We know Ecepeexe....some people just don't read very well . 1. No it isn't laming since your not doing anything that wasn't supposed to be in the game, nor are you using anything other players can't do. It's just your own style and I can hardly call that laming It would be the same as only using Red Style in duels . 2. There is no such mod YET. But i'm sure there will be one. Just look for servers who have disabled the Staff and Dual Sabers for now 3. It can counter but it depends on the distance and position of your enemie |

I meant if there's a mod that lets you use ONLY single sabers, not staff or dual sabers. _______________ "Before reaching Knighthood, all Jedi make a sacrifice. 1) Well, not using a saber in a SW game is weird I must say So just use that too to be able to defend against saber attacks since, well, the force pool cannot last forever can it? 2) I though you COULD use single sabers in Duel type 3) Since I haven't played JKA for a long time, I can't answer you... But since your question concerns countering I am almost sure you can figure out yourself by testing it and checking if it is good enough for a counter towards that move. cmad X _______________ Your friends of today, are your enemies of tomorrow. |

1) This is all a matter of opinion... maybe people who complain about these sorts of things should find ways to counter? 2) There isn't any such mod available, but i'm sure there's something that you can do similar to that in JA Reloaded (or maybe there will be in a later version) 3) It depends how close you are to the person. If you're too close, you'll just go right past them. Hope that helps. |
