Fate's guide to starting a clan: 1. Get a clan server: No clan will ever survive if it doesn't have a base of operations, a feelings of community, or just a place where members can find each other. 2. Get a webpage/ hopefully fast loading and mabye a messageboard: Communication between members is key to building community and providing information that memebrs can easily access. 3. Get on AIM: When you're on aim, people see you, builds community, blah blah blah. Get it? 4. Don't be an arse: Ranks are cool, but everyone needs a chance for advancement. A person shouldn't be on the bottom rung forever. 5. Don't get power hungry: Run a server mod so you can punish noobs, share admin access so members can deal with noobs, don't expect members to be always calling you master, respect them and then expect respect in return. _______________ I must not fear .
