I think that Macs are nice, haven't really used one to make real critic but generally I find them nice... Only 1 thing is disturbing: the hardware thing; you don't just put any piece of hardware in it... _______________ Your friends of today, are your enemies of tomorrow. |

I voted the price. I HAVE a MAC. Im looking at it. Its a 800mhz iBook. Its fun to have for school (college), and i have a used 20 gig ipod (its like walking around with a 20gig hard drive in my pocket--my lady love it  )BUT i hate the price. Sure they are good products, great products, but hell, Im a college student. Why should i fork over 1100-1750 for a decent Apple when i can spend half of that and have a slammin' PC? I think MAC could make a killing offering more than a 50 dollar discount to college kids......Like if they hooked us up....when we were out of school with more $$$ we would stay with company because we used their products throughout school. i went on a mac once...put in the cd wanting to drag and drop the files onto my desktop but hey bro, guess wot? i dont work. they suddenly disappeared and i was like 'wtf mate?'. drag and drop of a cd with a mac doesn't actually mean u drag and drop the files onto ur desktop..no..it just means u make a COPY of the files that can only be used WHEN the cd is IN the driver... load a tihsllub lol _______________ - Even if Carlsberg made "w*nkers", Christiano Ronaldo would still be the biggest "w*nker" in the world |

Oh, you can get other types of keyboards, and things for mac. Such as Microsoft, they have come out with a mac keyboard and MICROSOFT WORD.. i got they both. Come to this site for more information on the I MEAN IT http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/72301/wo/GL3877GeN6GN3Z4QXNQdba2kU7b/0.0.7.1.0.5.13.0.3.1.3.0.7.4.1.1.0 The mouse... so many peopel dont get macs because it is ONE big button, but you can get a mouse for mac from 1 to 5 buttons just the same as PC. As for processors, you dont need to upgrade they are so good. And for the OS, i have never had a problem with it, upgradeing is easy and you can get an emulator of windows for it. Also in Mac OS X you get OS 9, the old OS, on it as well. I can run programs on my new computer that would only run on my old one. As for processor speed, have you even looked at the new computers??? the one I have is a dual 1.2 gHz, it is a G4!!! And look at the G5! It is the fastest personal computer in the world Ok on to Xipkell For software, all the software you need on a computer you can get for mac. Come to this site and it will tell you all you need to know about mac software : http://www.apple.com/software/ Aron, I have never had a problem using a Mac after using windows. I used to have one but i didnt like it much. I guess it is just what kind of person you are. I'm not all that into the variety of them. You have a MAC then that's what you have. The Processor is MAC keyboard is MAC. On a PC you can get different brand keyboards, mice, processors. You don't like Windows you can try and go for Linux, and not have to buy a new computer. What if you have issues with the MAC OS's?
