Things exist? or is that just our perception of them? If things didnt exist would u ask this question, would u exist......

i guess im trying to say, Things exist because they have to exist, that just the way it is :)

I'm planning to read it, I'm always open to books and I always carefully pick books I've got to read, and I read them.

Of course I take advantage of the magnificent internet at times, but that's not because i didn't read a book ;)

A Tale Of 2 Cities is by Charles Dickens.
This book has it all: romance and tragedy, mystery and history, revolutionary atrocities and courtroom drama, not to mention both openning and closing lines which are unforgettable and famous (It was the best of times, it was the worst of times ...). It's a book that truly transports you to another time, one of history's most terrible and frightening, as well as one of its most idealistic and noble. A word to all those kids who had to read it for school and gave it bad reviews: there is something about having to ! read a book for school that makes you hate it. Don't let that throw you. Read it again ten years from now, after you've had a chance to experience life (both the good and bad stuff) a bit more, after you've learned a bit more history so you can understand all the book's allusions, and when you (and this time not your teacher) are really in the mood to read, and you'll see why this book is considered one of the truly great classics. :)

Bail, i can understand where you are coming from becuase i have been in that exact position myself, and although you feel angry now believe me it will pass......Think about it it 30 years will you care that he broke your guitar, no, your feeling angry becuase of a piece of wood, yes a guitar is a way of expressing yourself and you do get attached to something in a way that most people dont understand. But remember this guy is your brother, you may get annoyed with him at times, you may even claim that you hate him. But at the end of the day you know how you feel for him, and i know that you can forgive him for being an *$$. But people make mistakes, this will have taught him a lesson, even though he may not show i, i can bet that he is feeling SO guily atm.

Hes sorry Bail, the guitar is now broken and no amount of anger will bring it back. Let it go. You will get a new one OR this one will be repaired (as mine was) that is certain. Until then just brethe and stay calm. yeah?

Just stand back from the situation, im sure that when you look at your life, whats gone, and whats to come this event will look small in comparison. If you need to talk, or to vent anger, add me to msn, and ill be happy to chat to you. (smidge2260@hotmail.com)

Take care buddy

Terrorism is a big problem as we all know ulic, and various counties have problems dealing with all aspects of terrorism both internal and external. The biggest problem with terrorists is the use of gurilla tactics (Dressed in civilian clothes, so that they appear to be a normal person.) This makes them very hard to find, and as of yet there are no real ways to combat it.

The best way in my oppinion would be for the majority of europe and the US, e.g Nato to come to a mutual agreement and set of protacols that are flexable. But in a way that a uniform approach is taken world wide to combat terrorism. Only once all the loopols are taken away, and all easy access is removed can we start to move from a defensive stance on terrorism, to a plausable offense into removeing it. And this job should NOT be left to the single decision of a country, nor should NOT taking an action be concidered as an option.

I dont know, maybee im too optermistic. But in my eyes that is the only way we are going to be able to achive the irradication of global terrorism.

i hope that answered your question ulic

take care

new question
forget the old one:

Why can't I be mad at my brother (RL)

He was playing my (expensive) Accoustic Guitar, and he puts it against the wall, and for like the thousanth time that day I told him to not do that, since the guitar would fall.
Today, I was just too late and my guitar is now broken...

I'm mad, and I scream a bit, and go up to my room in anger.
My mother follows me and says I shouldn't be mad at him, since he would buy me a new guitar, or at least pay the repairing costs.

Why the **** am I not allowed to be mad?
she isn't even letting me vent my anger, and now I'm sitting here, banned to the computer and I can't even cry, since we have guests... you get the point...

EDIT: I apologize for my swear words in my post. I was still extremely mad atm.

My question is completely different.

What is the best policy, ergo what measures should be taken by international organisations, governments and citizens to face the growing threat of terrorism?
