OK this is a very interesting topic (for me at least). WHAT SHOULD THE PERFECT MOD FOR JK2 HAVE IN IT?? I'll start:
- Various Saber hilts - Various saber lenghts - Various model heights - Custom saber colors available - The script that somebody wrote, the one that allows you in saber duel only to see your opponent and the duelers become invisible when your outside of the duel - Two sabers, dualblade sabers or two dualblade sabers, but every option would be very hard to master, not only various styles, but, say a different way of controlling them. - more realistic force use system Phew, anymore suggestions, post them here......... _______________ Quote: Peace is a lie, there is only passion. First: I know all of this is in the other mods, but I wanted you to post your ideas, what more could we add. Something original.

There are already mods out that have those abilities. My favorite JediPlus 4.3, and the other Masters of the Force Mod. There are a few dedicated servers for those mods, but no dedicated Academy server for those mods. It would be nice to have a dedicated Academy Server for mods. I have some computer sauvy and I'm in the process of building a server, but it's very much in the testing stage. Haven't found a good server admin mod for JK2. |

Well, the thing about JK2 MP Modding is we're only able to use the animations that were avaliable for SP mode. Believe you me, I looked forever through the different animations and found simply the best ones. The same goes with saber stances, etc. Those are emotes too...If you have ever used OmniMod/JediPlus, you will see that they have all the things you speak of right now. But the saber stances and the moves are very limited because the singleplayer source code was never released. If Raven ever decided to release the SP source, there would be a lot of awesome mods out there. The Jetpack, that has been implemented very well in the ForceMod. For saber combat, I'd have to go with Promod 3.1! The author of that spawned a lot of original ideas and again, he had to manipluate around the animations in order to create something a little different from gameplay. My point is, I would like to see all this stuff already in JK3 when it comes out, most likely next year. _______________ Get busy living, or get busy dying. |

Jetpack is a good idea but limited. Let's say u have to search for fuel, like for bacta canisters.
