| Should Knight Trials be upgraded??? | |

Since JK3 came out and it now has vehicles such as the swoop bike and the at-st. I was wondering if the knight trials should maybe reguire a little knowledge of the vehicles. I mean the vehicles are something that every Jedi should know about. Also I don't know already but will the Knight trials reguire someone to know a little about the duel sabers and the staff saber styles as well? _______________ Life is Something that Happens when You can't Get to Sleep. One of the things to note, becoming a knight isn't like turning 16 and you get your drivers license sort of thing. It's something you have to work hard for. In my opinion you should have a moderate or greater knowledge of the game. Knowing every secret in every map and every other detail should not be a necessarity for becoming a knight. If you know how to play well enough, that should do it. Then comes the important parts such as a good character with nice behaviour and attitude towards others. Becoming a JAK shouldn't be impossible as I somehow get the impression of. And I haven't been to any classes yet, no. While skills combat wise are definitely game related (JK2 and JK3 cannot be easily compared in that aspect), behaviour and ways of teaching are paramount and can be tested regardless of the game server you play on. |

Well, in my opinion, upgrading the trials is needed since there's a new game out and ppl play it and more important it brings new elements in the gameplay. So the persons that are official teachers show the example and get certified in order to keep their credibility and also to avoid pointless discussions like "Oh you're a JK2 knight... blablabla... JK3 knights are better... blabla" or even more pointless arguments about the justice of taking JK3 trials while previous knights had only JK2. Well, I think it's a very good and wise decision. I also suggest everyone move along and forget about the trials till they're invited to go through them. Some of you guys seem to have a misconception of what a "Trial" actually is. For the JA, it is a test of your knwledge of the Game and of your character. Now, we require a certain level of knowledge and skill for your to be considered a "Knight", but tell me this - Have you ever gone to a class here at the JA on how to best kill a Rancor? No? Okay, then how can you be tested on something that you have never been taught? The rank of 'Jedi Knight' encorporates above average Physical skills, Diplomatic, Peace Keeping and some Minor teaching skills. These are what Potential Students will be put to the Test on.
