Is there such a thing? Every time I Own somebody, he screams "Aimbot!" I've been told that the existence of such things is an urban legend, but Quake-engine Land is filled with True Believers who swear there are such things. I've Googled the topic to death and found many sites claiming that such things exist, but nowhere they can be downloaded. Now if I wanted to know if MySql really exists or not, I'd Google it and within two minutes be downloading it--because it does exist. If I wanted to know if Gimp or OpenOffice really exists, sure enough I'd Google it and be downloading it within two minutes. This is not possible with aimbots. You can find sites that claim it exists, but like Bigfoot the evidence mysteriously disappears when a skeptic asks to see it. Now if such a thing did exist, it would most likely be a Trojan horse, and only a real 'tard would use it. But do they exist at all? I don't think it's beyond the realm of possibility, but I have yet to see any credible evidence of it beyond the usual I-got-owned-therefore-everybody-but-me-cheats argument. Don't know about JK2 or JK3, but I've seen too much crap on CS not to belive it. I've never seen a aimbot in action live on CS, but you wouldn't belive the amount of carp ppl come up with on CS if the server is not properly protected. The most simple ones are wall hakcs. Imagine that you you are hidding behind a wall, you want to see if someone is crawling on you on the other side , you press a key and voila. The wall becomes transparent. The 3d enviroment is build on your computer, these hacks are done by screwing with the dlls and drivers (opengl I think). So if you can interfer with how your graphic card renders the 3d enviroment and the 2d display of your hud you can do it in order to benefit your playing. If it exists, presently ? I dont think so, I belive they existed before games evolved and got patched. CS is a very good example of it. And even the Q3 engine games have too much diferences for 1 hack to work on all. Directx keeps evolving, etc. I think it is technically possible and there are ppl with the knowladge to build them but I'll have to agree with the Urban Legend theory though. But, it is a known fact that the best cheaters will only do it as a last resourt and wont talk about it. That might explain the lack of info on google. on Darkforces it was soooo easy to hack. If ya typed in console /imp_thermal_g 1 (i think) It will make the whole server be covered in thermal grenades :S. Its good technology is better now  |

LOL!!! People are still insisting that aimbots are real...and still no evidence. And again, a wallhack is not an aimbot--cheating, yes, aimbot, no. An aimbot is a program that, well, aims. Do you believe in Bigfoot too? Have you been abducted by extraterrestrials? I know...you've seen Poloroids of them but can't show them to me. Do you not understand that simply saying you think someone was using an aimbot 'cause you got owned is not evidence any more than saying you were abducted by aliens proves that you were? Why is this such a difficult concept for people? This thread has gone on long enough by now that if aimbots actually existed then somebody would have posted one by now. Steinin, the reason he's asking about them is because he doesn't think they exist and he's so sick of hearing people complain everytime they die that someone is using an aimbot. Why are you so in to finding the source code of Hack programs? Anyway. For this tread's sake I searched Kazaa and did after a couple of tries find lots of programs capable of taking away textures from walls, aiming stuff etc. If you're really want to find such a program you might want to try one of the many file-sharing programs out there. Java-> I use cfgs all the time, so yes, I know what they are... but JAbot whined about possible harmful code in one of the pics on the site I got it from earlier, so I was unsure. But, alas, I tried it out: perhaps I used it wrong, or didn't notice the smaller details, but as I saw it, it was nothing but changed graphics. r_fastsky was set to 1, would probably make it easier to spot enemies, all graphic details and such were low, so I got 200 fps. Simple objects were on, etc.... but I couldn't see through walls. Perhaps I did it wrong, but of what I saw, it was a performance improver, not a wallhack as one would imagine it. |

They didn't have pure servers for medal of honor until the spearhead expansion came out if I remember. But, there were anti-cheat mods and you could check what skins they were using and kick them if it was anything suspicious. I know for sure wall hacks are real. I used one for Medal of Honor when I played it. It was a skin that gave troops a neon glow and you could see them through walls. If any proof is needed I'll check if I still have the .pk3. Edit: I didnt find the wallhack skins pk3 but I did find a NoBush.pk3, a NoSunGlare.pk3, and a NoRecoil.mp3. As for aimbots, hell if I know. I dont think they exist for jk2/3. Double Edit: Aha, I found the neon wallhack skins. The reason Javaguy wants to see a website offering a download of aimbots is because HE DOESN'T THINK THEY EXIST. If you know where they are just e-mail him the link that will keep your little secret safe and no one knowing where to get it. I think the majority of us here at the academy aren't going to use them anyways. I want to see proof of an aimbot too. If you can't search and find a download of them then they aren't real. Like java says, its a big foot. It like if I claim my friend owns a small polynesian island. You guys can't prove me right or wrong so its a stalemate.
