Planetside is/was (LOL) doing this to me... but all you have to do is think about your REAL life. What are you doing with it? I've been dating my GF for a little more than a year now and I started playing jedi knight EVERY day around around march '03. Around october all my roomates, gf and friends were freaking the hell out on me. saying " wtf are you doing" " you never come hang out" "your going nowhere" "your rotting your brain". It took some time to realize that i was doing just that. Some months later I looked back and asked... what have i done outside of my RL everyday job?........ Not a damn thing..... Get you ass outside.... go to the beach....go to the mall..go play football or any sport, enroll in some city league thing or something....go get piss drunk with your friends (if ur over 21  ) ..... TURN OFF THAT DAMN COMPUTER.....SERIOUSLY...... Luckily for me, I only get to play it on weekends. My life is... 'normal' when I can't play it. I spose that's one of the advantages of only getting to go to my dad's every weekend... that and all the other games that comp can pull off. *sigh* EDIT: Oh, and if you want something to get you off of it, look out your window at a pretty girl, or try, and I mean really try, to master doc on.. mmm... I just started playing SWG...grounded again! I've read the manual like 40 times in the last two days...IT'S NOT THE SAME! JUST NOT THE SAME! btw, I'll be back to JK2 once network issues are taken care of with the new comp. |
