i was playing on ks a little while ago, and i desided to do some pit duelling, with the new pit and all.
when i got there, it was chaos. people pulling the person jumping to center platform so they could go next, people on the platform pushing so the next person could go... people kicking others off of the TINY platform at the door... people going to the center platform to stand, interfereing with other's duels... i'd say, with about 20 minuites of standing in line at the old pit, you maybe got 4-5 duels in a medium-crowded pit now, with 20 min. of standing in line, yoou get pushed/pulled 6 times, kicked three times, and the once you actually get to duel, people are kicking each other off the center platform. either SOMEONE put some PIT RULES in effect, or BRING BACK the old pit!! yes, there was a jat there. i'll admit he wasn't doing it as excessivly as the others, but i got kicked by him once, and pushed by him twice. if people want me to, i'll reveal which one. this HAS TO STOP!! _______________ Well then. I dislike the new map. new council/spawning room are ok, but I miss the old pillar, I wasnt in the pit often, yet, so thats probably ok to me, but Y did u get rid of Lost Temple...

i would say get the plank from the door to the middle platform back. it's nice to have a row wehre you can wait, and you dont block the others to enter.

I would just like to confirm Shannon's findings. I was able to keep the duel going on several occasions if I just moved around to try and stay above the fall guy/gal.
Also, what Bubu said it correct. Sounds like people were just excited. Sometimes my niece gets so excited when we are playing that she bites me in the hand or something. Although i don't like the 'new' pit I found out that duels won't server if you move with the duel partner u jsut kicked in the groin and who fell down. So if he fell to the stairs move there too, so the duel stays on. _______________ Falling from heaven is not as painfull, as surviving the impact. |

you dont need special pit room rules... you shouldnt kick or push annywhere else on the map either.

Ahhh, just wait for the novelty to to wear away, they all just wanna hang out in the new room, no big deal. Once everyone is used to it it'll be not quite as, but nearly as unpopulated as the original pit room, IMHO.

Trad, I don't think the map is the issue. I've had no problems with people behaving in the pool/glad(iator)(new names for pit?).
I like the new pit a lot. IMHO.... THE NEW PIT IS AWESOME.. my favorite new room to duel in. Only thing is, duels split when you fall.
