What's up, JA? Okay, 2003 ended with the award going to Kalheka, who I have not seen in quite a while (I'm not sure if he's still with us...), with an honorary mention to Silkmonkey. Now, 2004 has arrived... This award is intended to honor those of us in the JA who have gone out of their way and beyond the call of duty to welcome the newcomers to the JA, and get them on the right track to learning and contributing to the Academy. With the conversion of the Academy from JKII to JKIII, the award should be even more important, as the amount of newcomers increased with the conversion. I want to hear from everyone, and especially the newcomers! Please post on who you think should receive this honor, based on your personal experiences with the nominee and what he/she has done to get you comfortable in the JA. Whatever names appear here will be considered, and I mean EVERY NAME! I will go back and consider each name. I haven't seen anyone giving a tour on the servers lately cuz I haven't been on the servers lately, so that's why my 2nd nomination is from old memories. 1st nomination -> Mune, for inventing the JA Student Introduction Program 2nd nomination -> Jacen Aratan; he was the guy that would be touring around new students in the servers. I am quite new here at the JA and want to mention a few names. First off thanks to Mune for hooking me up with Flash(Master Yoda) as my "Big Brother". Flash has been awesome so far. Also thanks to Kenji for helping with my tour and showing me the NPC room. Of course I can't forget my master SilkMonkey for taking me on as a padawan without seeing to much of me.
