After playing with it for a while, I definitly think JK2 rolling sucks, its way to unrealistic, I hoped on a JK2 server today, I can roll I would guess 15 ft or more. For me its all in the Jedi Folklor...Very few force users used double bladed sabers, let alone duel sabers (which seemed kinda like an emergency situation type deal to me..ie. Anakin fighting Dooku). I can only name a handfull the biggest one popping to mind being Exar Kun. Jk2 is all about the Jedi and his/her saber, its balanced it flows and its far more challenging when the field is evened out, varied only by the skill of the individual holding the saber. From what I've witnessed and whats been said in this forum the new lightsabers are simply just bigger guns...for JK4 what I suggest is not adding the duel or double sabers, but simply more elegant stances for the single saber, a few shorts in JKA showed an awsome stance that could be incorporated though they only gave you a peek at it, and thats when the main character is holding the saber inverted, much the way you do with a Katana when trying holding the hilt towards the enemy. I like Jedi Academy more then Jedi Outcast. If your not using mods, you get your own saber hilts, volumetric shadowing has been improved, antialias works at its fullest with ATI Radeon Cards (unlike JO) and you have better over all terrain editing in your maps, as well as more map features. _______________ "All the world's a stage", but my life is the leading role... I like both, used to like JKA more but its got tedius with the lamers, and its fast paced dueling, so i started playing JK2 again, and found that the training in JKA with the staff has really helped my timing attacks in JK2. I wouldnt say either is better but JK2 is slower paced and more fun IMO _______________ Hi Everybody! |

JK2 is soooooooooooooo much better than JK3. If I didnt play jk2 before I would say jk3 was quite a good game that just needed a couple of improvements. But I already knew JK2 and you expect the follow-up to be better, well no way, it got _much_ worse  !JK3 really wasnt worth the money, but ah well JK2 was worth twice the money  _______________ ~~ Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none! ~~ |

I think the major problem in JK:JA is that all (most) the good skilled and exprient admins are staying at jk2... when i go to a JA server im using my "No laming. Laming will not be toleratede" bind 300 times in a hour. _______________ DuckLord... the duck above all duck's... |

I think that yes, the jk2 experience is more realistic, and the jkja SP was soooooo easy and short , played it at a friends.. But I havent played Multiplayer much at all,because I dont own the game atm. But theres no use in complaining, Im sure its fun the way it is, I really dont care.. Theres still some major skill involved from what ive heard. Plus its all about the fun and training. *Leaves to beg some parents* Oh , and lately some people dont know this ,But Me, Vaxx, Squib, Seth, fizz, and some others Were hanging on NL alot 2 days ago.
