Do you guys think i am ready for knighthood ? I have not been here for long, but i did play this game online since it was out . The reason i wanna be a knight is beacause i wanna help the pple to use staff-saber (especially, there are not much knights major in staff and also help the pple out in STAFF Vs RED STANCE). Please guys...give me some opinions on knighthood ... it can be good or bad, thx_______________ -THE ONE WITH THE "STAFF" -BROTHER TO FROSTY -Admitted to University of California, San Diego(UCSD). YAY! |

Who wants to be a JAK when you can be a student. Yeah I know how you feel. I wanted to be a JAK too and I felt I would be ready. Heck, Everyone wants to be a JAK  . If you have the knights "stuff" the trainers will note it in time. I myself won't probably ever get the chance so I just live with it. Let's meet on the servers sometime. If you're bored, get a little bro/sis through the student introduction program or maybe start mapping. Even though you may be ready skillwise to be a Knight, you need to get the social aspect of Knighthood down. You have to be well known (sort of), and always known to be willing to give up your time and effort to help another person out. I speak from experience, because I am one of the few veterans here in the JA who has not reached Knighthood at all. It's because I'm usually not around enough on the servers and IRC to get people to know me, especially the JAC and the Knights. I have the desire, the skill...but do I have the time? From the postings before this one, they all make the correct point that making a post asking if you're ready isn't exactly "kosher" I've seen you on the server, and yes you can play well, but along with that you need to bring the attitude and character that is deserving of being a Knight. Bide your time, be patient, continue to improve in all characteristics of what is being sought here at the academy (Honor, Patience, Attitude), and this will get the attention of your fellow students and the upper ups around you. Take that path and have fun, that's the important thing. _______________ Be honorable, be friendly, be trustworthy. Show respect to all whom you meet. Don't forget you learn when you win AND when you lose. Be the first to admit mistake AND the first to correct it. Be the shoulder for someone to lean on. Always remember those that sacrificed time to help you. JAK isn't everything. Being JAS is still OK and you can still help ppl out. If you want JAK for the tag of it, then there's NO way you're gonna get that rank. If you want JAK to help other ppl, then you still don't have to get JAK because JASs can do so as well. Then why the **** would anyone wanna be a JAK? Skillwise, I think you're a pretty good staff user. Otherwise, I don't know you well enough to make a judgment on your personality, although you do seem like a nice guy. If knighthood is a goal of yours, I can only advise patience, and learning more about JKA, and being as helpful as you can to everyone, student or otherwise. |

First of all ancient if you wanna be a knight dont go asking to become one. When it is time for you to become a knight the JAKS+ will let you know. They watch everyone in what they do. They are always on and everything you do is accounted for. Just chill out be cool on the servers help people out and just be a nice guy sooner or later you'll get your chance. Most people have been here ever since the academy has been established and they arent knights. You just have to take some time. You just started here a while ago. Get to know some peeps first. Being a knight is a big responsibility and they arent just gonna give it to someone that asks. Being a knight isnt based only on knowledge of the game either Ancient it is based on how you act towards other. You respect towards rank and many other things. Just be your self on the server be active and play it kool. Im sure there will be a spot for you, but only when the time comes. And dont take this the wrong way. I know the eagerness you are feeling i had it a couple times to. Enjoy the academy now as it is cause if you become a knight responsibility really kicks in. Well thats all i have to say on the topic.If any JAKS+ wanna correct me on some things or anyone else wanna correct me if i said something untrue or wrong feel free.
