does anyone knows about the unlisted combos of the staff? please do post them here it sure will help out the staff students (the permanent combo thread is dead) here is a few I know: (holding down attack) backright then right (cool spinning) (holding down attack) frontright then right (less cool spinning) (holding down attack) backleft then left (slashes crazily a few times) (holding down attack) backleft then frontright (can't see what it does...) jump+back+attack (all in quick succession) extremely cool looking landing attack~ (press attack after landing to do a high damaging horizontal slash) may take several tries to perform... _______________ I'm leaving, on a jet plane~ |

that post is dead... I wonder if anyone goes there BTW here are some tricks with the staff to turn on saber Maul style: get an add-on hilt (i.e. the ones from the saber packs), switch on saber and quickly press saber style so it looks like the 2nd blade never came out, then press saber style again to do combos with 1 blade on: use an add-on hilt and just switch off 1 blade and do the moves normally or if you have a normal hilt, press saber style while performing the move silly move: switch off the saber just before you start a kata, and you will do it without the blades on. when it is about to end, hold down attack+alt attack. you will then do a funny kata which looks like you are swatting flies  you can roll stab at the end, but you will need a full force pool to do all 3 moves together  someone please help out to continue the list!!!! _______________ I'm leaving, on a jet plane~ |

Nicely done, I'm glad to see someone else show such interest in staffing. All those combos are indeed listed correctly, and to this day wonder what Raven had in mind when they made some of those techniques with the left direction animation (specifically the one where you go all jaggedy and it looks just plain awkward). The one combo listed above you had a mysteriousness to, the diagonal back and forth, where you start backright to topleft or backleft to topright, it's the same as bouncing left to right except in the diagonal-like direction. They are very good in duels, experiment with those some more, you'll find them to be useful. _______________ Be honorable, be friendly, be trustworthy. Show respect to all whom you meet.
