57006. The word "dead" is actually a hex number :)

You prolly got the number by using hex, but I can't read it, so I can't answer that question.:)

Okay let's rephrase the riddle, if only you and dead people can read hex, 57006 people can read hex, so how did we get this number? :D

My guesses:

Me + the number of dead people.

I was going to guess 1, because dead people can't read but you said more than 2 so that guess sucks.

Three of course.

You'll need to clarify the question. When you say dead people can read hex, do you mean that they could read it when they were alive? I know a few dead people, and none of them have read much of anything since their demise.

Or do you mean that, despite being metabolically challenged, the dead can nonetheless read hex?

Due to the exponential nature of population growth, something between 10 and 20 percent of all human beings who have ever been born are still alive right now. Pretty amazing, huh?

Would the answer to the riddle change if it asked about octal or binary notation?
