OK, I am probably the only one who has a problem with this but could someone explain to me what all the chat abbreviations mean?

uhm... i posted a section wich explains almost all of them... it's called "shortened words (shortments)"

The 'mo' ones are most commonly used for 'motherfu**ing' something, but meant in a positive way, like in 'That dude is a mofo of a sniper' (meaning he frequently does 'mama'-snipes). A 'mama'-snipe is where the sniper from midair shoots a guy that is also in midair. It's a bit tricky, and I've only seen two guy ever who are so good at it that they hit with more than 3/4 of the shots. One is Necrophiliac (love that guys name) from our clan and the other is Detritiq. There's also a guy called Nutritious who's very good at this, but he loses skill a lot faster on higher pings, so he doesn't really count (necro goes steady up to 300 or so. I lose it at 70, so I pretty much suck at it). Still, if anybody wanna learn the basics about this I'll be happy to help. The funniest 'official' (presented by raven software) abbreviation in the game is, however, without contest..... PMS: Portable Missile System |

the actual history behind w00t would probably near impossible to dig up. Speaking of abbreviations (and pigs ), does anyone know what "moke" means or "momo"? I've seen them on the ESPN NHL message board and no one has an answer for me. Is that just something they made up or is that an actual abbr.
btw - why is the word abbreviate such a long word?
