I got a problem...
my jk3 isn't working. it worked without the patch and when i patched it to play on the servers it stoped working!

This is what happens: I click the multiplayer button and then it starts normaly, but after the first screen (the one with the "Star wars jedi knight: Jedi academy";) it goes black for half a second and then i'm back at the desctop .

Hope some1 knows how i can fix this before my first class here :)

I had the same problem after installing the patch. I suggest you try to remove and then reinstall the game and then apply the patch, be sure to save all your custom pk3 somewhere before doing that.
Hope this helps,

If you could play online before you downloaded the patch for the server, then your problem lies in the patch. I would recommend deleting the patch from your computer. Most likely, the patch was coded for a network or computer mainframe that your computer does not have and/or does not support. Take some time to find out all you can about your computer and it's network properties, then find and download patches that are written for your computer's type.
If you could not play online before you downloaded the patch, then your problem lies with your computer itself. While the problem could be one of any number of reasons, it most likely is simply your computer's inability to handle online play. To solve this problem, try contacting LucasArts or your computer's manufacturer and explaining your problem to them.

Peace.
