OK, seriously, respect me on this one. Good graphics, good moves. But I spent 3 hours trying to get past the first boss before I shattered my controlle against the wall. It is THAT FRUSTRATING. To get me to hurl something is a feat in itself. It's been 3.5 years since I shattered something in a fit of rage. If you know me (most of you do), I do not enrage easily. Nor am I a pushover gamer ( I was one of the first Knights here, and still hold skill.) No tutorial, no way of teaching you the moves at all, so the screenshots are nice, moves are nice, graphics, etc. And they delayed it enough to make everyone want it, including me. Edit: See below to find that it was because the controller in question (not shattered, just some piece broke off, nonessential) was faulty and sluggish. So I'll keep the game. Sorry, but after finding that a new controller fixed the problem, I'll chug through it. Still difficult and frustrating though, so be warned. I guess it will get MUCH harder by the end. On Level 3 now, I'll update you as I go along. But it does get more challenging, tricky. I suggest finding a guide forum, walkthough, or strategy guide for playing this game. Bah, I played it at EB games. I was in this room, and everything was on fire. And I couldn't find an exit anywhere, so that was that. BUMP i just rented it from video shop, w0000t ownage im on chapter 5 and im about 5 hrs in pretty sweet game, can be very hard at times, the first boss was a pain in the ass cos i didnt know any moves, still, im not buying this or anyother Xbox game, im gettin my Xbox modded then i can copy it weeeeeeeeeeeee anyway lemme know whoelse plays maybe i can help ya out or wot not _______________ If you add me to MSN, tell me who you are

Yeah, the game is good, I'm onto level 5 now, without much of a sweat. The only reason it took me so long is: The enemies respawn. Thus, I would go back and forth and kick the snot out of them, to gather up "essence" to buy stuff with. So I'm pretty well set now. But go with a guide or a forum if you will play this game. I've joined a Ninja Gaiden Forum <here> Look for me under the name UlicBelouve. haha... I broke a controller and my Mario Kart: Double Dash disc, after failing for... 30 or so times on Star Cup on 150cc. I threw the controller at the Gamecube and the lid popped open and the cd flew off the center and got scratched or something, so I got an exchange and beat it a day later _______________ Brady Brothers: Orion-Greg, Furi0us-Peter, Me-Bobby. Well here's an update. Seems the controller that I was first using was junky, and was on its way out anyways. How do I know this? I got a new one, plugged it in, had AWESOME responsiveness. Kicked the snot out of the first boss in the first try, and it only took me 3 tries to beat the second boss on Level Two. So, moral of the story: They need to encourage/include a highly responsive controller. I'll keep it for now. Really, the game IS challenging, but you can lighten the load by checking out forums/guides. It will tell you WHAT to do, but it's easier said than done. But it helps to know such things like: "He's immune to shuriken." or "You can't knock him off with the bow like the others." Stuff like that helps in getting things done. Now this game has some fun to it. Pussling now, not frustrating. But make sure you have a new controller, or one with good response. _______________ Jedi do not fight for peace. Just looked at a review, well, the pictures from a review, and don't ask me how when I say this, but just looking at the pictures already frustrates me. o_O It's not like I'll ever play it, I don't even have an X-Box, but you know... Weird.  Looks like it would be hard, too. I mean, look at how much low health you get. Maybe that's what might get me frustrated by just looking at the pictures. Go figure. _______________ slorp |

Hrmph. I picked up the pieces and used some super glue to put it back together. The electronic pieces are ok, the thing just came apart, and some plastic pieces broke. Really just the outer shell. And it's a bit sluggish, but I'll just be playing KOTOR for the most part now, no more of this stupid game. And you'll see my bad reviews around as well. And I'm chasing down the makers of the game tomorrow when their offices open. I want something from them for this. They owe me at least something in apology. I don't get upset easily, and I am disappointed at anyone who makes me so, for it is a hard thing to do, one really has to try. Man, I don't know what ticks me off more, the frustrating game, or the people who MADE a game to frustrate me so. Feh. _______________ Jedi do not fight for peace.
